In the vanilla version (as it spawns on the official servers) it is intended for the hood to not be removable. Therefore this is why there is no attach action (As the hood should not be removable in the first place). This is as designed.

@Geez my ip is in the post above. They're now taking an anecdotal route and telling me why other servers lag rather than working out why mine is at times. I know the reason and they know the reason, but they keep trying to fob me off with generic possible problems, which don't relate to my server.

As a community, we feel we should have the chance to work with a company that provides stable servers, and if they do go wrong, work hard to correct it. I agree with the above ☝🏼 Easy but fantastic changes to implement. DayZ is unique in the fact that people form bonds and survive together often. Other than armbands it is difficult to differentiate between friends or foes. These changes would be great!

Resolved for 1.25 update.
I posted comments about this during the stream yesterday every 2 minutes hoping to get a reaction. Got nothing. And I’m assuming they either don’t know or don’t care at this point. I haven’t bothered playing the game for the last few months because of this very issue. It’s completely ruined the game for me. 😞
I doubt it as there’s no status updates.
Would be great if we could have some official recognition from Geez & Co acknowledging how game-breaking this is and a commitment to resolve it.

Our team was unable to find anything unusual, the resource consumption is okay and everything seems fine.
If the server performance icon appears, we suggest to check custom mission scripts. The problem might lie in the server modifications.

It's not good enough. Their servers were not able to keep up with the demand so we were having problems. Or, they were messing with something. Either way, to suggest I need to do more restarts is absurd. I didn't need to do more restarts before the problem, and anyhow, I do the required 6 a day, as they suggest, already.

A bit late! But you can use the chainsaw to get all the way through silently. Break the bottom wall, then the wire on the fence, and then the lower frame. Gotta make sure you have an electrical repair kit or two if you do it all with the chainsaw though.

It's unplayable, and now it's restarting outside of the scheduled restart times. These issues are killing a 3-year-old server. I've noticed the CPU Usage is almost at 100%. This can't be a configuration problem because I've had the same setup for months. Even after wiping on Friday, the problems are still there. Plus, I know of other servers experiencing the same issues.

It's unplayable, and now it's restarting outside of the scheduled restart times. These issues are killing a 3-year-old server. I've noticed the CPU Usage is almost at 100%. This can't be a configuration problem because I've had the same setup for months. Even after wiping on Friday, the problems are still there. Plus, I know of other servers experiencing the same issues.

Yeah, it's still happening every now and then. It's been going on for about two weeks now. I had to do a wipe last Friday, which helped a bit, but the issue persists, especially during peak hours and around 30 minutes before each restart (which is every three hours)

I am from Mexico, Juárez City to be exact and this would be the second time something like this has happened to me. The first time it happened with a bag with food and ammunition but I didn't report it.

Chainsaw is not an item that is supposed to spawn at the moment (old scrapped item) - community servers spawning the items do so at their own risk. Currently there are no plans to work on it further.

I’m having this issue too, can’t play any community servers at all apart from Australian ones even though I’m based in the UK.
