1 : Mate it doesn’t take long to build a base up again. If it takes you three months to build a base you’re doing something horribly wrong.
2 : Wipes are necessary for stability in the game.
3 : This wipe is definitely needed.

We suggest deleting your mods, verifying the game data, deleting the DayZ documents folder, disable steam cloud sync and try the game on vanilla version as it seems the issue is caused by some modded item.

Hello, seems like your Stable client is not properly updated. Please try to update the game through Steam. In case this is an issue with Steam then there is not much we can do on our end. If you cannot seem to force update then reinstalling the game could possibly work.

Does the experimental version work? If so, we suggest disabling Steam cloud sync, then deleting contents of your DayZ Documents folder and then copy over the contents of your DayZ Exp documents folder into the DayZ documents folder.

My direct connection to your servers is failing inside the Nitrado network. When I use a VPN, it reroutes my traffic and works perfectly. Here is a traceroute comparison showing both the failed path and the successful VPN path.

It seems that Nitrado the hosting company hosting the official servers is blocking me?

Road Tools has begun to play nice again since 1.28

Update: Now I only see ASIA PACIFIC - HK servers, EU Servers in my FAVORITES are still unreachable. Again I do not have any sort of network modification enabled, NO VPN, No weird DNS, and when I look up my IP address it shows that I am indeed in Libya using a Libyan ISP.

The servers have been temporarily shut down - this was announced through the server messages in order for you to have time to move your items to another server possibly. Also there is a planned wipe with the upcoming hotfix so player built bases will be gone either way.

Same here. It’s been a few days we have the same problem on official vanilla. We ran into two gas zones with no visual gas. Just happened to me in Novy today, and last time was on the military zone on south Dubrovka. I recorded the event if necessary. Both times, it was a dynamic gas event we didn’t hear spawn, no gas bomb sound. When we hear the sound, the gas is always visible. Last one in Novy was interesting cause I heard the event, and I saw the gas first. I chose to wait for the gas to disappear and logged off my server. When I logged back 20 minutes later, no gas was visible anymore. I thought is was gone so I entered Novy and got sick immediately - playing on Xbox

Unfortunately there are no .mdmp files which we need in order to analyse the issue properly. Can you check your Appdata DayZ folder if there are any recent .mdmp files related to the crash?
