Mate it doesn’t take long to build a base up again. If it takes you three months to build a base you’re doing something horribly wrong. Wipes are necessary for stability in the game. This wipe is definitely needed. Stop crying.

Building a proper base does take time — for example, just one rampart means 40 walls, 70% of which are metal. One wall = 6 metal sheets. Two ramparts = ~80 walls (not counting the tower) = around 170 metal sheets.
That’s without even including nails, tools, camo, barbed wire, 3 canopy tents, 3 medium tents, 4 military tents, and 33 barrels filled with tier 3–4 loot...

I play solo. I have a job, a family, and a home to maintain. I don’t play 8 hours a day, and certainly not every day.
So yes — for me, it is a 3-month effort. And honestly, in 2 years of raiding gameplay, I’ve never raided or seen a base this well-stocked on an official server. So — are you joking?

You’re not a DayZ developer, so maybe avoid pretending to speak with authority. There are community servers (look them up) that don’t wipe at all — and they run just fine. So what stability issues, exactly?

Don't need to be a developer to understand wipes and I'm talking official. Also, I'm not speaking with any authority just common sense about the game. There are dupers who build giant bases that does not help server performance. There are also dupers who run around with an M4 kit forever because they just dupe.

Be logical. Understand how the game works and why things happen instead of just crying for no wipe. This one was needed and there will be more wipes to come.
