In the pictures you can see how the AKM sways significantly to the left.
Agreed. This needs to be changed.
It seems that even if you do not have a weapon in your hands - your character will think he is looking down the sight of an invisible gun, which in turn, forces you to walk.
Yup, that happened.
Can confirm.
Seems to have been fixed as of 47.124641 Stable.
Actions: Removing item on which consume action was called, not item which was swapped to hands during consume action
Still effective as of .45.124426. 06/17/2014
Open Can. Receive endless bacon.
Done.
Uhh, note. This began happening after I accidentally joined a server that showed up during maintenance. I promptly left it realizing that my character was not loaded.
After the maintence, though. I would not be able to join any server with that error showing up.
I resolved this issue by completely reinstalling the game, though probably still worth looking at.
UPDATE: 0.47.124641
As of the recent Stable Update, this issue has become exacerbated by the sheer amount of zombies spawning in towns, as well as their pathfinding and persistence in chase. Zombies NEED to have their aggro distance capped, otherwise Player on Player interaction is compromised, especially in urban environments.
Very true, upvoted for visibility.
Vice versa, you cannot drag items from the character's hands into the vicinity.
Very true, I was playing with my friend and thought we were both in close proximity from one another - each one of us could hear distinct gunfire the other one could not.
This is a serious issue so please upvote for visibility, it must be addressed.
Yup, this report is quite a bit older. lol
Still effective as of 47.124594 Experimental.
Yeah, I agree. It is mainly called school or office due to the word's brevity. Otherwise it's a bit vague as to what it is, and no one wants to use more than a single word to designate it.

Here is the video of Dean Hall finding a gun in the same spot during one of his devblogs.
I noted that, checked out the place myself, and every time since that day I've found a gun there. If the building is not looted beforehand, a gun is always there without exception.
Issue still present as of 0.44 Stable.
I don't, I am just a player.
But go on any empty server, to that same spot. I guarantee you're going to find a weapon up there. Be it a side-arm, a rifle or a shotgun.
I have no motive whatsoever to make this up.
Come on, this is still happening with 100% reproducibility. I could add a million more images of me finding guns if I wanted to.
Feeeex.
A lot of people are gonna be pissed I reported this, but shit gotta get fixed yo...

In the pictures - I am attempting to put items into the aforementioned 'broken slot.' Has happened to me more that once with a number of items.
Same for some other items too. Cannot tell if it's a bug or just a lack of artistic content, oh well.
Yeah, I can confirm. The light goes into an unrealistic direction once you go crouch or prone.
Can confirm, I am unable to scroll down the inventory menu by dragging with the mouse button or clicking on the side 50% of the time.
I am forced to continually reopen the inventory menu until it works.

Multiple shacks of the same type have this trash can blocking the entrance to it. It is as if the trashcan has been copy pasted with some other shacks of that type. Here is one of the shacks I have found in Pavlovo. It is inaccessible.

Yes, same thing happened on 0.50.125144 Experimental.
Though it only happened with Pistols and Revolvers for me. My Magnum and a Colt 1911 Engraved have both disappeared this way, though the Magnum I was able to bring back by restarting. The amount of clutter(other items) and uneven ground could also contribute to this occurrence.
Agreed. This needs to be changed.
It seems that even if you do not have a weapon in your hands - your character will think he is looking down the sight of an invisible gun, which in turn, forces you to walk.
and then when you press 3-4 times it takes out the selected item or weapon, and then puts it back again. sigh.
