Cao you please upload new crashdumps with deactivated mods?
Once again, 3 days gents. Any luck? I Uninstalled it by deleting the local content in steam, and then reinstalled it. I thought I had it working, yet it still crashes.
Done. It still crashes on start-up majority of the time. And if this all works, will I be able to use mods, just like everyone else?

My apologies , I can be a Luddite at times. Any who, the files are uploaded. I would really appreciate help on this issue of continuous crashing. My graphics are set to standard (60 fps, so I thought great!), and even with out mods ( play with six steam enabled, Canadian pack and old Arma 2/2 O.A. map pack) It still crash's. Id be able to fix it myself, but with taking 2 summer jobs at once, I simply don't have the time. Yours- ZeeDesertFox.

When package will be smaller than 5000k, you can attach it here. When package is bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here.
How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.

And this is also why the VA should have like a list off all the items instead of just like certain ammo for the guns you have: "In the Virtual Arsenal itself, there should be a way to add more items to the soldier's inventory than those which you can add right now. For example, if I wanted to create an 'ammo bearer' loadout, there is no way for me to add any other magazines to the backpack other than the magazines compatible with the sodier's weapon (if he had 5.56 weapon, he wouldn't be able to carry 6.5 magazines). This also makes giving soldier more attachments or for example more ACRE radios almost impossible (some team members usually carry both 148 and 343 transmitter)." Having an extra button for listing all items would be a simple fix for this. This is also important for ammo bearers and for specific miscellaneous items from mods.
Umm.. Yeah they're working on new weapons (Marksman DLC). Though a 7.62 MXM would be nice...

Yeah I have gone from previous save points and restarted the mission entirely but to no avail... And the only mod that was installed was the 'community based add-on' mod but I don't think that would have any effect, I removed it and I'll retry it now. My next step I guess is re-downloading the entire thing and start from the very beginning of the campaign?
It does work now, it seems the patch fixed it. Thanks for all your help!
Yeah I'll check as soon as possible, I was out of town for a few days but I'll check if it still persists later.
Oh I forgot, one of the instances in which I retried the mission one of the others survived and he went correctly to the Rendezvous point however the leader still went off course but the mission wouldn't continue without him.
This is strange. However, restarting whole campaign should not be necessary.
There was a update yesterday, can you please confirm that the issue is still happening?
If it is, could you please attach the savegame from your profile in Documents\Arma 3\Saved?
Just in case you can also try rechecking the integrity of local data, but it would be pretty weird if corrupted data had such consequences.
Actually I just tried to continue my save and it told me the save could not be loaded due to an incompatible version. So I had to restart the mission and I'll post again on my results.

I went thru the mission ensuring that autorifleman and CLS die in the ambush but the leader still went correctly to the Rendezvous point.
Did it happen once or does it happen repeatedly (after resuming the mission from a prev. save) for you?
Couldn't you have possibly some mods enabled? (esp. AI-related ones)
Honestly I am not a big fan of modifications. A core feature like Ares would be great.
I hope the developers will think and discuss about it again, create their own "Ares mod" as an official feature (like Zeus) and add it to the game.
guess you want us to use setammo [wp,ammocount] and have an option to keep vehicles empty

I really like the idea to edit pre-placed units, but I don't think that we will see that feature soon.
If you have Ares module, you are able to do that.
Mission makers already have the tools to allow zeus to edit pre-placed objects so I don't really see what you're asking for here.

@Killzone_Kid: I didn't mean the barrels in arma can have different fluids inside. But we don't know what the devs intent to have inside them either. They could very well be empty.
