Confirmed. I experienced that on experimental server while it was patch 44. I was bleeding but I couldn't apply bandages or rags. "Use" option didn't show up.

Chernarus is based on some post-soviet country which is in northern hemisphere. It means sun can't be in the north of the sky. Sun is in the south approximately at noon. It is really simple geography.

I want to mention, that on the roadmap new renderer was scheduled for first quarter. Now it is august and we get hats :/
Thanks for clarifying cause of one problem. Still, objects are being swapped in wrong conditions (sometimes getting closer gives us less detailed object).

Doesn't change the fact, that game looks like Arma 2 OA and has same bugs in rendering pipeline. And this is still "Real Virtuality 3".

ArmA 2 and ArmA2: Operation Arrowhead both uses "Real Virtuality 3" engine. Please, do some research before proving anything.
No, you shouldn't as it is not an issue.
This is a thing which should be made while polishing the game. Very minor problem. It is almost raw ArmA2's engine with few additions so keymapping is almost the same as in original Arma2.
yukinmax is right. You have to eat unitl you are full (both drink and food). Then rest for a while. You will get "healing" status. Tried it today and it worked. You need a lot of food and drink.
I don't understand BI. Let's make game first and then engine so we will have to rewrite lots of core stuff.

it defines how many high quality objects can be on scene, so basically low-poly models will be closer to you and only closest ones will be swapped to high-poly models. Less vertices -> less things to count for CPU&GPU -> better FPS.

If you were reading regularly you would have seen my bug report (http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=3538 , 2013-12-23 17:05 ), where I analyzed problem with rendering and came to the same conclusion. My issue report hasn't even been reviewed yet.
DXDIAG files won't help. This game has no optimization and problem is not in player's hardware.
Please check my issue which is related to this problem and has possible fix.

There is a way to get out.
- Run against the wall (press "W" all the time)
- While still keeping "W" pressed disconnect from server.
- After reconnecting you will be outside.
100% true. Reconnecting is better than morphine.
