Why don't you just play on first person servers only if you don't like the fact that people are using the third person view?
And by the way: you can use the third person for your own advantage, too.
We experienced the same hack yesterday night. My Clanmates and I (6 people) were all constantly dropping our weaopons. One of my clanmates saw them (2 hackers) teleporting and they did not lose their weapons all the time => they were not effected by the hack.
Now hackers do not only have big advantages by teleporting and knowing where everybody is (ESP) but also make you defenseless and drop your weapon. They can teleport right next to you take your weapon and kill you with your own weapon.
Pathetic hackers. Won't take a fight even if they already teleport.
Bohemia: Stop this right now! Give us useful admin tools!
I haven't been playing since this report few weeks ago. Now I have played two nights again with my clanmates. First night a mate and I were killed by a hacker the rest was able to log out. Yesterdfay two people (one of them was me again...) of our six man team died again by a hacker the rest logged out. We changed to server to regroup and to get new loot. During the two people who died ran back to the airfield the rest of our clan was killed at the airfield by hackers.
Only two nights and we meet 3 different hackers on different servers.
Yes, it is an Alpha. But nobody should expect me to play this game anymore and take part in the development without being paid. If a friend wanted to play this game I would tell him NOT to buy it because of the hackers. He will probably never again think about buying this game. Not even in the future if the hackers are gone.
Bohemia you are losing potential customers and potential money. YOUR MONEY. You are losing your current players and fan base alreday.
Give us useful ADMIN TOOLS NOW. Otherwise the only players that are left will be hackers who kill each other. Great job Bohemia. You let 1.000 hackers ruin a game of millions! You ruin your own profit and future of your company!
The fact that nobody official answers to this report shows how less Bohemia cares about their REAL player base.
@silentblade63
Yes, but if nobody is able to know the Steam-ID of somebody else nobody will be able to do that.
Or give at least the server-admins more rights. Let them see who killed who. Make it possible to send messages to the admin in a seperate channel. And also make it possible to ban people permanent on a server (from what I know that is not possible at the moment).
Yes, it is an Early Access game and still in development, but if a few people are ruining the game for everybody else a lot of people will leave the game. If somebody is leaving the game for a reason it is very hard to win him back, even if the game has been improve and hackers are gone.
If somebody hacks in CS and I die I can leave the server without any consequences. If somebody hacks in DayZ and I die I can leave the server, but I have lost gear which I had to loot for hours. I will probably decide not to go looting again for hours just to get killed by a hacker again in a single second of battle because he pops up behind me. So DayZ is different from other games were you do not lose everything. Hackers in other games are annoying and everybody hates them. But in DayZ it's even a worse thing.
Moreover if the game is known to have a lot of hackers it will struggle to get rid of this reputation. Even if in the future the hackers are gone new potential players will probably decide not to buy the game because of its reputation.
Hackers ruin the game not only for the players but also for Bohemia.
It is a game about a zombie apocalypse and not a game about looting empty buildings without any danger. Also you should think about playing together with somebody. One of you deals with the zombies, the other is able to loot. In a zombie apocalypse you would probably also try to team up to be safer.
You have probably found an easter egg. Mockba is the capital city of russia: Moscow.
This also happend to mate of mine and to myself, but it does not happen very often.
I died at least once by this. I was walking alongside a mountain when a Zed was further up on the mountain. When it reached me it hit me exactly one time and I was instantly dead. A friend of mine was able to loot me and nothing was ruined so I think the Zed hit my head. I was equipped (not a fresh spawn) when this happened and I think I even wore a helmet which was not ruined afterwards.
Yet I was not able to reproduce it when I was a fresh spawn and let a Zed kill me to get a better spawn point. They did not kill me again even if they hit my head, so it seems to be very rare.
PS: I was not the same Zed as in the video. All Zed have the same strenght so this does not influence it.
If you were a fresh spawn:
You have probably died when log out (your character is ingame for another 30 seconds after you exit a server) or you died when you logged in (your character stands there for at least 3 seconds when you are still stuck on "Please wait" before you see your character.
If you were naked:
Maybe someone saw you log out and knocked you out and then looted you.
Someone probably killed you when your game was frozen.

If other players drop items to the ground and you pick them up they may seem to be empty even if they are not. The items are invisible.
To fix it:
Log out and log in again on any server and the items in the 'empty' bags/medikits etc are visible again.
I can confirm this bug. This is a bug friends of mine also had when respawning. It seems to be very seldom and hard to reproduce.
This is a bug. Actually there is the loot inside the medikit but it is invisible. Pick the medikit up into your inventory. If you then take a look inside the medikit (or drop it to the ground again) the regular loot will be visible inside again. (2 bandages, starter kit, blood bag, syringe, etc.)

I can confirm this bug. It happened to me once, too. I am not sure how to reproduce it.
I can not connect to ANY Experimental-Server right now. If there are for e.g. 32 players on a 40 player server (so for other players it is possible to join the server) I can not connect and I am stuck on 'Wait for host'.
I also cannot connect to empty servers where I am also stuck on 'Wait for host'.
I am facing this problem on EVERY server no matter if it an UK, US, DE, regular or hardcore server.
Sometimes items are invisible after server restart or relogging. Maybe this is the bug you are experiencing. If they are invisible drop the Protector Case to the ground and pick it up again. NOw you should be able to see them again.
Confirmed.

In the future you will be able to build your own base/house, repair cars and drive around with them and zombies will get harder. So there will be things to do for you but it will take a lot of time for this things to be implemented. So right now it is only gearing up and kill people.
DayZ Origins is a mod and there you can take a look at what it may or could look like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T26RJ5f_T88
It is an Early Acces Alpha Version. You were informed about this before your purchase. The game is not finished and there may be still a lot of bugs or it even may be unplayable for a while. Also it seems like you have not informed yourself about the minimum requirements your computer needs to run the game. Further more you are able to download and play it on any other computer because you can download it and run it via steam everywhere. And also if the game is finally finished in t he future you do not have to buy it again since you have it already. So if you buy another/a better computer in the future you are able to play DayZ.
Because of all this facts you will probably not get a refund.
PS: I am not part of the DayZ-Team.
You should not log out in the middle of any airfield, city or any other busy place. Find a place to hide to log out. For example a tree or a room in a building. Also when you log out while you are lying you will stand up again during log out and your character is in the game for another 30 seconds or even a minute and can be killed easily in this time. This is to prevent people from logging out when they get shot (which is called combat logging).
It is your own fault if you die when you log out at a place with many people around.
I can confirm this. It happens in the stable version 0.46 too.
It happened to me and to many of my friends. This is kind of serious problem in a fight. Friends of mine died because of this in several situations because their gun didn't work.
joe_mcentire: your idea is cool but this is kind of hard to programm.
This happens to my friends and me a lot, too. It happens on any sever (regular and hardcore) of the stable version (0.46). After waiting for the spawn timer to end (70 seconds?) it is really annoying to wait another 3 to 5 minutes for the "Please wait" to disappear and finally to spawn.
To me it seems like that this happens after you have joined several servers. If you join the first server after starting the game this is not happening. But if you were on another server before and want to join another server the time for "Please wait" is getting longer.
This is especially annoying if you are playing with clan mates because then it is essential to able to join and rejoin different servers. For example you want to meet your teammates on an empty server and then start to fight on a full server and have to wait a long time.
I can confirm this. Sometimes when I climb a ladder it happened to me too when a zed was following me. But it seems like this does not happen always.
This bug is in the game for a very long time already (it probably was always in the game). I have discovered it months ago. It even works with a Mosin. If you loead 5 Shots in (without clip) and afterwards reload the gun with the clip the 5 shots in the Mosin go to your inventory and stay there. Then you can reload these 5 shots as if it is a clip.
No, it's not fixed. I can still only see misses up to 400 m maximum. Shots/misses on longer ranges are still invisible making it impossible to adjust the aiming.
If you face a town all objects inside your view volume are loaded. (The view volume is the space between the front and back clipping plane.) This means all objects, players, zeds etc. are loaded even if they are behind the walls or buildings. During the process of creating each picture the GPU has to calculate whether you will see the object or not. So even if you will not see the objects on the final picture on your monitor all objects are loaded during the process of creating the picture. (60 fps equals creating 60 pictures per second.)
The more objects there are in the view volume the more calcuclating your computer has to make to create a picture. The more calculating the less FPS you will have.
Here is a link if you want to have more information about the view volume:

If you are standing in a bush and you log out the next server may spawn you in the air over the bush if you log in again. Then you die because of fall damage.
This happened to a mate of mine (we were able to loot his body, pants was ruined) and it happened to me at least twice.
I am not sure if he is reporting the same location as I did since I can't see his screenshots. But here is the link to my report: 0013739 http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=13739
