First time this has happened to me, was bright green Energized, Hydrated and Healthy. Ballistic Helmet - Worn, Gorka E Chest - Pristine, Khaki Vest - Worn, Summer Camo Pants - Pristine, Olive Jungle Boots - Pristine
Female Z, Blonde, Pink Coat, Mustard Skirt.
One shot me.
I've been hit by that kind of Z before, so not sure if its THAT kind of civilian Z, or just an anomaly.
This is the first time it's happened to me, so not entirely sure it's able to be reproduced 100% of the time.
Was in Hardcore.
This isn't my video, nor is it me playing. But this is the culprit Z and what she looks like. (must of been a fashion craze happening in Chernarus!)
Hey man, same happened to me but a male zombie hit me(standard black shirt one i think?) altough the female was with him around but he hit me

This also happend to mate of mine and to myself, but it does not happen very often.
I died at least once by this. I was walking alongside a mountain when a Zed was further up on the mountain. When it reached me it hit me exactly one time and I was instantly dead. A friend of mine was able to loot me and nothing was ruined so I think the Zed hit my head. I was equipped (not a fresh spawn) when this happened and I think I even wore a helmet which was not ruined afterwards.
Yet I was not able to reproduce it when I was a fresh spawn and let a Zed kill me to get a better spawn point. They did not kill me again even if they hit my head, so it seems to be very rare.
PS: I was not the same Zed as in the video. All Zed have the same strenght so this does not influence it.
Must just be the occasional MEGA ZOMBIE :O
imo, they need to get their own model, instead of looking like another normal zombie (joke, i know its not intended)
This happened to me a single male zombie one hit killed me. I know it was a zombie because I had just checked the player list and everyone else had logged out leaving me alone on the server. My entire inventory was in pristine condition as I had just completed upgrading every item in my pack. 15 day survivor, all pristine gear, one hit... "YOU ARE DEAD" LOL! I was in crouched position behind a bush, heard the zombie, stood up, saw him in front of me, raised weapon, took aim, lights out! WTF? Me not the zombie!
damn :( seems it happens a little more often than i expected, I've only seen one, one hit zombie in about 250 hrs of play. I logged into my, played daily, 3 week old char, to a zombie attacking me. Ruined my vest and everything in it, took Chest down to Worn too. Was in the middle of nowhere. Now I'm fearful to log in, but thats the whole idea. It's just taken zombie threat to a whole new level!

The current iteration of the zombies and melee combat is not the final, so as development progresses, the zombie AI/behaviour and melee balancing will be further worked on.
