Some Experimental Servers that are empty have connection issue's.
If you let the 'Wait for host' run, it'll eventually say it had problems with the connection to the host and has therefor lost connection.

Join an empty server ~ Wait for host ~ Connection to the server lost.
Additional Information
The server require a restart or an additional settings check to make sure everythings correct. (an assumption made by me though, what I belive the cause may be.)

Most of the DayZ US servers are in a persistent reboot state, as of today, July 26th. I think many players, including myself, are experiencing the very same issue.

I can not connect to ANY Experimental-Server right now. If there are for e.g. 32 players on a 40 player server (so for other players it is possible to join the server) I can not connect and I am stuck on 'Wait for host'.
I also cannot connect to empty servers where I am also stuck on 'Wait for host'.
I am facing this problem on EVERY server no matter if it an UK, US, DE, regular or hardcore server.

Me also. I cannot connect to my own server since 0.47. Only one time. Then i have to wait randomly 10 minutes, sometimes 20, or 30. If I restart my server before i join, i never can go on it. A friend of mine also. But i can join some other servers but not all. Server is in Frankfurt

Huston, we have a problem.
The Majority of DayZ Exp servers are out, they're up but malfunctioning, you cant join them.
The very few onces that has players are also acting weird whenever you want to join them, they're stuck at Wait for host.
I remember having my own DayZ server and whenever this issue occured, I'd always have to restart the server for it to work properly again.
