Just started artifacting on me when I was dead and waiting for someone to revive me in KOTH and got way worse once I respawned back to back to base and crashed to black screen but the game was still running and even fired a shot off. Had to crtl alt del and end process. I started off using low quality preference and kept going up and now I am using very high quality preference. I did uninstall msi afterburner the other night. I always play KOTH and it was crashing at the main menu when I first started to report this. Also just updated the graphics drivers, sound, and gigabit network port on the motherboard.

I have started to do that recently. I have picked the Low quality setting and ill see if it does anything else.

Current Cfg settings. I have been raising some of these settings within the game. Will report back and see which setting causes me to crash. Btw not sure if dxsetup did anything but I hope it was worth it.

I have a GTX680 4gb what do you suggest I have my voltage set to on MSI afterburner? I have the fan set to 63% right now nothing else tweaked at the moment. It does not matter if I underclock all the way or overclock slightly. Fan 100% or auto it will still artifact or crash to black screen resulting me to ctrl alt del and ending process. Last time it crashed I was playing king of the hill and I was ejecting out of the hummingbird before the parachute deploys and it crashed to black screen and then artifacts shortly after the game is closed. I seen improvements of my card not crashing often after trying different fixes but it still occurs. I included updated .rpt and log files. Will report back if running dxsetup did anything.

This time I try to launch a single player and showed me the campaign options and it already started to artifact till it got worse

Switched to dev mode, verify cache, select play in launcher, click on editor, looked around on stratis map at spawn point, game starts showing artifacts which has been doing that since ticket created, game crashes to desktop showing errors

I knew something was not right. I liked the old camera before.

No startup parameters at the moment. I do not use mods at all. Only DLC I have is zeus.

this also happens in arma 2 i hope they can fix this in arma 3 and then add the fix in arma 2

that be neat. for the boats, you might be able to shoot out of it with your rifle

Update: I have ArmA 3 running in the background right now. XtremeTuner plus and gamebooster is on. Launches fine.

I think though that one of the "play now" buttons on steam will not launch the game.

Exiting out of game. Gamebooster now back to normal mode.

Right now I am not running in dev mode.

Launch Option 1:
Ok now lets see which steam "Play now" options do not work. By going into the taskbar and then to notification area where you see the time and steam icon running. By right clicking on steam. Selecting ArmA 3 Alpha from the mini-list and then giving you the option to "Play ArmA 3 Alpha" or "Launch in windowed mode". Gamebooster enables game launches fine. Exiting out of game.

Launch Option 2:
This time...Going into steam browser. Select "ArmA 3 Alpha" in the left column where the other games are. Push "Play" then giving you the option to "Play ArmA 3 Alpha" or "Launch in windowed mode". Gamebooster launches. However no game launch. I think its a steam issue or something.

Update 2: Now I have gamebooster and xtremetuner plus disabled. I will being doing both launching options again. Launch option 1 did fine. Launch option 2 did fine.

@millhauz launches just fine without gamebooster. doesn't happen with any other games.

Its filled with wasteland servers. I played it on arma 2 and didnt like it and its now on arma 3.... would like to see arma 3 community to focus on warfare.

Hello it did the same thing again. This time on a 80 man server while afk. Im running the latest dev build.

Ran a internet game on my pc and i got 4-5 players on and no crash or anything. This was in the night mission.
