Now whether it doesn’t visibly damage them I cannot say. that would be an interesting test to intentionally lead them back and forth through barbed wire and see if they eventually expire…

Try to play on a PVE Community servers. PVE is "Player vs Environment". Most of these PVE sever do not allow base raiding, car jacking or killing other players. So you are free to build, loot towns, work on cars, hunt and gather all you want and without players ruining all the fun. Also, PVE severs DO have PVP "zones" (Player vs Player) so if you want a gun battle with other players, you still can.

The best way to fix this, is by uninstalling DayZ. Its that simple. Uninstall it and don't play it. Its a loss.

They took our money and ran with it lol. DayZ is dead.

Only items affected by the flag (such items show the icon to indicate they are affected) will not get despawned. In general this mostly concerns basebuilding fences/towers/gates and long persisting items such as barrels or tents. Backpacks or other items with shorter persistence are not affected by the flag.

I bought this game when its just went for sale, I collected pieces of cars all day, and in five minutes crashed, after that I deleted the game, after a time I decided to check it, and you haven't fixed it yet? What are you doing there?

The game lags while driving because your survivor is traveling faster than the map can load. When your survivor is on foot, whether they are walking or running, is not moving as fast as a vehicle. Which allows the map to have more time to load in. I love this game but the creators think adding more canned food, brooms and a pokemon ball is more important than fixing the actual bugs and other game play issues. I have been complaining about the cars for a while now.

Items have specific lifetimes and once these lifetimes reach zero, while no player has interacted with the items to refresh them, then they will clean up. We will look into the issue with the hooked up batteries though.

Hold the planks in your hands. Make sure you have enough. I think you need a whole stack of 10. Maybe 8. To combine them, put one in your hands and hover over the item you want to combine in the vicinity area and it should let you push O to combine.

Try exiting server and reloading always.

For real they need to fix this. It happens in open fields and everything once you hit fourth gear. Or you are near trees or buildings. The game lags and freezes and loads back up after 10 seconds or so. Sometimes it causes the player to have to reset the application on console. Very frustrating to have this happen and then get blasted on. Do players near by mess with my connectivity? Wtf???

No. It can happend anywhere on any type of server. Both on ps4 and ps5.

Had the same thinking with cars and full backpacks. Would be dope to just throw tha backpack of my dead m8 in the car and go pick him up.. Now its soo risky to sort his stuff in the car..

Also, are there any vehicles or bases in the vicinity of your character?
