Same thing happens to me on official when upgrading to sheet metal. I've had to tear down the entire fence and rebuild it.

@Geez this is an indicator of the exploit people are abusing to crash servers and dupe items.

Yesterday the problem was present, but today it doesn't seem to happen.

@Geez The mount position for the barbed wire attachment slots moved to a location that was obstructed by a wall and floor. It would still be nice if all action options were available just by looking at the target and using the up/down arrows to select the appropriate action.

I had a car parked before the update and it's still there after.

That's probably there to prevent the abuse of another bug.

Yesterday I got out of a Gunter that I left running in neutral and was pinned underneath of the vehicle until I was killed by repeatedly taking damage.

@Geez This issue is reported by mistake. I've killed and eaten countless animal fat and never contracted kuru. The player undoubtedly found a piece of fat that came from a human.

@Geez this happens frequently when changing servers on the public hive. A workaround is to close the game and reconnect. Sometimes even that won't work and neither will restarting the console. In rare instances, I've had to change to another server entirely and then change back before the game will allow me to play.

@Geez, I've reported this in the past, in fact, because players can abuse it to see through walls. It is an engine bug.

That gun is now worthless. There is a workaround to prevent it from happening: the first time you can't eject the magazine, you need to empty all of the bullets by pressing triangle repeatedly until there are zero bullets in the gun. Log out, log back in, and make sure the gun still has zero bullets in it. If it has zero, you should now be able to safely eject the mag. If it does not have zero, eject the remaining rounds and relog once more.

Remove glasses if you're wearing them. You can't toggle the NVGs with glasses equipped.

While logging out, where were you? It's possible you got killed if you didn't wait the full 15 seconds to log out.

Geez, this confusion comes from the non-functional "character select" screen. It leads people to believe they can create multiple characters and then select the one they want to play as.

You're supposed to take those parts off of the car.

It's not just crates. Large and car tents, barrels, sea chests, generators all cannot be taken to hands without dropping them to the ground first.

I hope you have reported them as private feedback.

IMO, you should be able to climb the walls unless there is barbed wire.

Consider yourself lucky that it takes as long as it does now. As a child, my friends and I used to just straight up kick through wooden fences.

Thanks for offering the suggestion, but that does not work consistently. Sometimes it will work, but only in the most bizarre conditions. For example, I gave up on trying to retrieve something "out of reach", but as I turned my back on the item I opened my inventory one more time and the item was then visible in my vacinity and I was able to take it.

Have you read the recent patch notes? It's been fixed in the experimental branch.

Come to MI 2389. We have been finding M4s, AKs, landmines, and ghillie stuff the past few days.

I parked an Olga nside a garage and it survived multiple server restarts. At one point, however, an ADA door spawned underneath of my Olga which was fine until the next server restart. After the restart, the Olga was gone but the ADA door was still there.

@Lex Yes, I know. I reported this in another ticket and the initial response I got was asking for lists of coordinates where this happens. It's gotten way worse since .63

@Geez I also quit playing on this server because of the crashing and can confirm the report. That player needs to be PSN banned.

Definitely do not wipe servers. I have manually walked eight barrels into a hidden location. Nothing duped. Just identify the duped item holders and discipline them, please.

@Geez I have seen this happening many times while carrying a sea chest. Items magically get put into the chest.

@Geez even with a SSD in a PS4 Pro, this still happens from time to time.

@Geez additionally, gas generators have a similar problem where turning them off doesn't always terminate their sound effects.

@Geez the same type of problem occurs when extinguishing a fire. My concern is that other players may walk up on a fire that I extinguished and still be able to hear its sound effects.

They're not shown on PS4 either.

All I can think of is that the contents finished cooking at the exact same time the fuel depleted.

I can forgive lots of bugs, but not being able to hear if you're being shot at is kind of aggravating.
