I feel like this is a good change for low pop servers where it is harder to run into people but on high pop servers it could be a problem. I assume it can be turned off in server options though for community servers. I would like more information provided on how it exactly works.

I saw this happen with a zombie and a tree, when punching the zombie its body was going into the tree. That has never happened before this update.

I noticed the trees were creaking too often and too loudly last night as well. It's not just that its different that bothered me, it was too loud with my headphones on and constant.

I had a 2 hour life die on Skalisty island radio tower because I felt like having a scenic view..

Sure people are clumsy.. but..
Being able to catch the ladder while falling would be a great mechanic instead of just flailing arms....

There is also a weird delay to the items being shown in the vicinity. I saw it last night.

It is 100% changing stances that causes it. Even if you do not aim right away you can still get hand bug from just crouching or standing.

@Geez I did further testing: This is a problem with VPP admin tools mod. I used the quick build to make the wall so it had no logs to drop. Please remove this task/report. Sorry

I just tried this on my vanilla server and I did not get the dismantle from the hard side like you do. I tried with a shovel and with a hatchet. Seems to be working fine. Do you have mods?

I had a similar thing happen on our vanilla server after the patch, cars were desyncing in a similar manner as mentioned above when they bumped anything. Upon a small collision with another object, they would just vanish from sight to others but be in some weird frozen state like they were dead or uncon in the car. Sometimes there would be animal noises and other game sounds for the driver. The person could not get out of the car. The person outside of the car could see the car and driver but not interact with the car or driver in any way. Upon relogging the driver would be dead but the car with driver in it would remain in the game world for everyone else on the server. When the observers relogged the car and driver would be gone. I have had friends complaining about this as well. You also used to be able to run from stair case to stair case in the 2 floor barns with double staircases without jumping, now you just fall and get hurt. All parkour is messed up now.

This problem has been around for a long time, its called the ADS bug. It usually happens from changing stances from crouched to standing then trying to aim.

I can confirm this problem (bug?) exists but I believe it was already present since 1.17, maybe a little worse?
Makes hiding mines by placing clothes over it a real pain now :)
