Fixed it. Loaded into the modded server and got rid of all the items.

game crashes after loading server 100% of the time. even after trying every every trick on the internet.

Think i found a solution: I played on a modded server and found an item which is not in the base game.
-nocharmenu as a launch parameter did let me load into the game.

Got same probleme today trying to start by launcher. All my mods are update but i suppose it comes from one of them. Will try to unistall some mods on my server to see if it comes from a key mod.

Still seeing this issue in 1.09 but I'm pretty sure I see it when the serve is low pop now as I could swear I see it all the time now - even when the server is sub 20 (granted with Shroud and Summit playing low-pop really hasn't been a thing so perhaps I've just not taken notice. I'll do so going forward and report.

Yes, but what is written in this thread alone didn't help. I also had to type "-nocharmenu" in the Steam options. You can find this solution somewhere else on this site.
