Arma 3 Activity

Hello, we are sorry you are experiencing issues with our game.
Could you please export your game log files from the launcher?
Steps on how to export logs from ARMA 3 Launcher:
- Start ARMA 3 Launcher
- Click the Hamburger menu tab in the launcher (Top right corner. Next to Options (Cog wheel icon) and Minimize Button)
- Drop down menu will appear
- Select: Prepare Arma Troubleshooting error and save those files
- A notification will pop up with the name of the generated file
Please note that the files might take a while to collect.
Attach the generated files to the ticket. If the files are too big please use some free file sharing service.
I was able to play last night after disabling all of the launcher parameters but I am not sure if that is the solution or I just got lucky. The file has been attached though.
First of all i would highly recommend launching the game without the -maxmem=13 parameter. If the game crashes even after that parameter is deleted please attach newly generated dump files using these following steps.

Closing; solved in the duplicate ticket.
I went through and did what you said deleted all the .dll and .exe files then re verified it and got the same exact error shown below

Hello, this issue is caused by corrupted .dll and .exe files. Try verifying the integrity of the game cache.
Thank you.
Hello?
After some further testing this freeze seems to be random, happening around 95% of the time. While the game freezes and blacks out my monitors, applications will continue to run in the background for some time before ceasing (YouTube video will continue to play sound etc.). This freeze also does not always produce error reports. I have tried waiting out the freeze for 20 minutes to no avail.
BUMP! :D
Hello,
thank you for your report and files. It seems that your problem is that DirectX crashes. This may be from various reasons, such as outdated DirectX, outdated drivers, overclocked CPU or GPU [by manufacturer or user] and many more.
Sadly, there is nothing that can be done from our side. I linked this problem to bug number #0000579, where you can read useful tips in comments. Also, please check out the forums page for another useful tips:

Sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice day.
Related to #24801
This issue was introduced by dev build 1.55.133085
This is now fixed. Thank you!!
Hey,
I'm pretty sure that the XM8 is not implemented in Exile so thats the reason why you are getting the "Whoops! Not implemented yet. Will come in a later version" message.
Also, its Exile related. Feedback tracker is only for base version of the game (That means no mods)
There is no XM8 PDA in ArmA III.
Please refrain from posting mod issues on this feedback tracker :) The thing you're talking about is courtesy of Exile mod.
Hello, im unable to reproduce the issue. Could you please provide more info? Thanks.
Edited as I realized the RHS mods caused this.
It appears to be connected to the RHS mods.
Found out this was due to Headsets being plugged in the computer! Go figure lol
Hm, well I just the Dev Branch for the second time since I thought maybe the update could have fixed it but NOPE. Feel like maybe it was something else that could have fixed your issue because I just tried the 1.55.133106 version and immediately after the first Single Player missions video intro is over I still crash out with the same error. I'll attach it.
Yes, I changed to DevBranch since the issue occured so suddenly. Being in DevBranch has not caused me any other instabilities. Even the mods work fine.
Hey Silentkilla, do you play on the Dev Branch or something? If not I'm not sure why my Arma 3 seems to be Version 1.52.132676 . I've had this same issue that you had for two weeks now and still have not received a resolution for it. Would be nice if what worked for you will work for me.
It doesn't seem to happen anymore since the 1.55.133106 update rolled out. So I think we can close this ticket.
No change, this time it happened when closing the game.
I also tried this before deactivating only single mods.
could you please attach the crashdump files from the unmodded session? Thanks
Could you please try reproducing the issue without mods please?
Thanks!
Obvious bug since first Operation Flashpoint. I am interested while so obvious BUGS (not features) are not changed by Game developers, but must be ganged by mod cummunity. Dont get me wrong, but the only way to "fix" it or get rid of it is addon, mod or waiting endless. It really obvious issue, same as using launchers in prone position.
This is still broken after the Eden update. I just tested it.

Sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice day.
I had already tried all the solutions on that topic short of uninstalling my Firewall (a stupid thing to be forced to do at any rate these days), but still the problem is solved.
I did this:
1 - Downloaded a new version of Comodo Firewall from their website;
2 - Unplugged computers internet cable;
3 - Completely uninstalled Comodo Firewall;
4 - Restarted Computer in Safe Mode;
4 - Ran MVRegClean and then CCleaner multiple times untill all registry issues were cleaned;
5 - Restarted computer back into normal mode and ran Steam hen Arma 3;
6 - Once the game was confirmed to be working i exited the game and steam and restarted it once more;
7 - Installed Comodo Internet Security again and allowed it to fully update;
8 - Ran Steam and Arma 3 and confirmed its working.
Can you try some of the fixes that have been posted here regarding error 81?

same problem here, cant request support, not shure if it was since the nexus update or since a reinstall, since both the update and reinstall happened at the same time, can anyone help me>?
Hello,
it seems that one of the required game files is missing or is corrupted. Please verify the integrity of the game cache to restore and repair the game files:
- Open Steam client.
- From the Library, right-click on the game and select "Properties" from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab, then click the "Verify integrity of game cache..." button.
- Steam will verify the game's files and restore them if necessary.
From my understanding no it doesn't, Hopefully you can view the crash log as nothing shows in the RPT the reason for the crashing. Thank you Adam! :)
