So far no freezes since the patch. It so far looks like they fixed it. Thank you!

Attached is my most recent crash playing the sling load mission with all mods turned off.
Thank you for looking into this, I would like to get back to flying once again.
Hello,
does it still happen to you in 1.36?
Same here X39
fyi
not getting the crash anymore since removing all DLLs from the dll folder
@Event Horizon,
could you please disable all mods and upload new dumps? It helps us when analysing them.
Attached are the crash logs for the most recent freeze.
Yes, I have verified it. It worked great all the way up to November 4th, I played the Huron/Taru fine all that day. But then November 5th it started. Now I find that it is most likely if the Huron is loaded. I can fly the Taru for a bit before a freeze, but eventually one will come.
takes about one minue for me to get into that crash using this little way of reproducing:
- start the "Sling Loading" showcase mission
- move to the chopper
- (if not already crashed) get into the chopper
will attach my crash dumps too
just ask for more ... can get plenty of them
Hello, thank you for reporting the problem and providing crash dumps, I have assigned the issue internally.
It looks like some of your data is corrupted, could you please verify it?

Thank you.
According to the author the issue can be closed.
Closing ticket - opened in error.
I commented out localClient[]={127.0.0.1}; accidentally hence HC not getting accurate position info.
I can't close this for some reason. Mods please close!
Only from a certain height. Like units placed in air in Zeus Interface.
+1
Especially useful as paratroops can't carry backpacks or other heavy supplies that need to be in a backpack for these kinds of missions.
Yes me, and it's the same with the taru they can't open the ramp
Anyone else experience this?
update: yesterday I tried the support rodopoli mission but it crashed again.
It looks like that only the Helicopter missions on altis forces the crashs (I was able to play the stratis support mission over one hour without a crash)
update: looks like it's fixed in the last 1.4* versions
Hey,
thanks for the data, I have analysed it and sent to programmers.
Happens to me too
I'm experiencing the same problem, tried to play coop online and was crashing within 2-4 minutes after joining. The OS and product version are the same. The server was using DLC helicopters. I've tried to disable the advanced flight model in Settings, but it didn't help. The logs have been uploaded.
Possible duplicate of http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=21569 (just so mods can merge properly)
I was not able to experience the issue anymore.
Marked as resolved.
I also noticed a drop in FPS after update 1.34. This applies to creatures missions in the editor. Old mission I created before (before the update 1.34) now have a less FPS. I have a powerful computer, but sometimes the game slows to a crawl to 10-12 FPS(
Well it seems that my FPS are restored now with the latest Dev duild
Same here, custom missions which were heavy but playable before are now pretty much unplayable (until alot of ai start dying that is). Nothing in the mission changed, only updates the game from 1.32 to 1.34.
Would be very helpful, since putting in and commanding every civilian is a huge amount of work.
+1
I think I also seen some balconies or floors in buildings which cause floating & death.
Bumpy-bump! Still not fixed, checked after recent update.
Hello? Is there something else I should provide or test?
Bump!
+ Google
That can't exist separately in Arma.
Current airplane flight model sucks, especially in slow speeds.
I've never tried TrackIR, but I tried the Oculus Rift and I can imagine very well, that these gadgets improve the immersion of ArmA and other games with similar free look options.
A system would be great, where other players can see your idle animations but you can't see them, if you switched to the fist person point of view.
Yes I totally agree...
These ambient animations will interfere with any form of head tracking and should be disabled for players.
I've got so used to head tracking now that the game feels broken without it.
The link that you posted is to an issue that I raised.
Great minds think alike :-)
Upvoted :-)
Idle animations should be totally disabled for player controlled characters.
Pain in the ass for TrackIR users.
Not only for TrackIR users.
I also hope, the developers will integrate a native support for upcoming Head-Mounted-Displays (HMD) like Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus and so on.

"Start off in a map. Walk around. Either get stuck, reset/ respawn, or remain unstuck for indeterminate period of time."
Never seen this...
You do not clearly described.
Under what conditions will the AI can't move?
In your squad, after order? When you commander?
How many units in your squad?
Or they are not able to move under different conditions?
Use
RscMapControl or
RscMapControlEmpty
RscMap is not what you think it is.
Same with RscTree
You can add RscMap to the list :[ hoping for #20515 :D
Ahh both are working. Thank you. :)
I already thought it would be something like that. It's interesting though as this problem does not exist with other classes like "RscButtonMenu" or "RscText".
Can I look these configs up somewhere?
Changed to config, as base classes are missing essential params like x in this case.
There's a config viewer in the editor, just look for the path shown in the error.
(That is: configFile >> "RscListBox")
In addition to light points created with createVehicle, i am experiencing this with a pistol-slot weapon using class Flashlight{} when benched on a flying heli (single player) so this is more than just an attachTo issue.
light point (including visible 'bulb' (scale[]) stutter upto 2m behind its expected point, if facing forward, will cause unit with flashlight & parts of helicopter to be rear-illuminated.
