Hello,
this should be fixed now.
I am uploading more and more crash files.
Hello,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
We need crash dump files from this folder for solve your problem.
C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When package will be smaller than 5000k, you can attach it here. When package is bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here.
How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.
Thank you.
Alright, so I the files. One from yesterday while trying to join a Altis Life server and some from today joining a Altis Wasteland server and a Altis Life.
These were the only two files I could find, except for some folders in the directory you were talking about.
even wearing carrier rig will let you survive, rather then wearing nothing
vest, usally something is contained,so it must be heavier, but reduce falling damage
wearing nothing must be get damage lowestly
vote up
Thank you for reporting back.
Closing as resolved.
confirmed as fixed. Nice!
Fixed at revision 73434
Nah man it is cool, there things in Arma that even developers don't know about ;) Trying to figure out how to solve limitations is actually pretty interesting game in itself until you hit a wall, and like in this particular case, it is a bit futile. I personally couldn't find an acceptable workaround but this doesn't mean there isn't one.
Pardon me, Sir. I've just started learning SQF half a year ago and though I consider myself pretty capable already, I still admire your skill and what you've presented on your website so far which is why I still very often accept your word as fact (except for this ticket ... so far ;o) ).
So excuse me if I'm not familiar with certain SQF quirks and limits. The sad thing is that the SQF basics are confidential, so we won't find out how in detail the commands "publicVariable" or "move" work which I personally am very interested to know.
Anyway, I'll develop and try and probably make the same experiences as you. But as nobody's perfect, neither are you and me. ;-)
Best regards,
Johnny
P.S.: I'd like to say "Challenge accepted", but you know ... your word and fact and such. ^_^
@Johhnny I hereby challenge you to come up with decent workaround to these problems! To save you time, none of the anim event handlers trigger for gesture animations like reloading. Good luck!
I haven't used event handlers alot so far, but to my understanding, you should be able to create an event handler fireing on <i>"AnimChanged"</i> and/or <i>"AnimDone"</i> and/or <i>"AnimStateChanged"</i>.
Then you could simply check which animation has been made and if it was the reload animation (don't know the anim code right away), you execute your desired code on <i>"AnimDone"</i>.

I'm sorry, guys... :( I noticed that I had a trigger on the mission area which removes all items from cargos...
The putWeaponPool command seems to work just fine.
SORRY!
This can be closed, no longer a issue, works fine.
Hello, this should be already fixed on Steam Dev, could you please change to Steam Dev version and try it?
You can find how to change to Steam Dev here:
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?149411-How-to-change-Arma-3-branches-between-STABLE-amp-DEVELOPMENT-versions-STEAM-client
Thank you very much.
I was just wondering if there was any update to this issue?

Server Crashed After 572366 x Network message xxxxx is pending in 3 Minuts
this issue does not occur anymore since 1.30 hotfix.
network pending. Yes, bigtime. every 5-6 hours on avarage (depending on how busy the servers get.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/c6y24evkhwkim18/128Prof1__17_40__desynch_people_crashing.zip?dl=0
@17:40 you can see another network message pending issue, followed by 46 people being force disconnected.
Another unknown module crash:

Prof2 RPT with network logging on - 10 seconds. corresponds to the last 2 ASM pictures.
includes 2 instances of Desynchs

Hello,
does it still happen to you?
Server Version is latest SteamCMD (1.28.0.127008)
Client Version was latest Steamupdate (1.28.0.127008)
Intel E3-1240v3 and running windows 2012, 1 arma3-server is running nothing else
I have a few RPTs added some different errors contained
There are those errors:
20:09:27 Server: Network message 1b17c4 is pending
20:09:59 Server: Network message 1d93fa is pending
20:26:16 Server: Network message 6f3ccc is pending
20:37:57 Server: Network message c761fa is pending
20:38:35 Server: Network message cc94e6 is pending
20:47:24 Server: Network message 10602a2 is pending
20:55:39 Server: Network message 144228c is pending
20:58:43 Server: Network message 16449fb is pending
Servers were updated as suggested to the following versions:
Server Version is latest SteamCMD (1.28.0.127008)
Client Version was latest Steamupdate (1.28.0.127008)
We did encounter another massive choke, that felt "like someone pushed a pause button".
As i was not present immediately as it happened, and the server did not crash, it seemed to have recovered after 5-7 minutes.
RpT's again show a massive amount of log spam like the examples below:
2014/09/04, 19:50:38 Server: Network message 805114c is pending
2014/09/04, 19:50:38 Server: Network message 805114c is pending
2014/09/04, 19:50:38 Server: Network message 805114c is pending
The RPT was uploaded on this feedback tracker ticket under file name
zip file icon arma3server_2014-09-04_03-00-00.zip [^] (379,994 bytes) 2014-09-04 20:28
Same server runtime as last report.
Network message cc94e6 is pending Log-spam and outgoing network bandwidth spike. Server felt like it was trying to catch up on a hughe amount of simulation. And slowly recovered. As the Bandwith consumption dropped, so did the "movement" of players on the Ingame map resume.
The server eventually crashed:
Fault address: 114C68B0 00:114C68B0 Unknown module
Crash dump has been added as
server4_unknown_module_Crash.zip
Uploaded a graph of what the hardware was doing when this issue occured.
CPU usage increased by 30%, Network usage decreased by 0.6 MB/s, Disk IO increased by 6 Million IO's
Keep in mind it is a E3 1245v2. running windows 2012, and nothing but 1 Arma3-server. Times coincide with the RPT logspam of pending network messages.
The reason the server probably did not crash this time, is because i am able to handle a lot of io's, as long as the written data does not surpass 2048 MB of Data.. (Primocache server edition. 2GB Assigned Ram cache layer between SSD and Operating system.
Hello,
could you please update your server to the newest hotfix and see if the crashes disappear?
It worked, i was able to get past the part causing the problem and beat the mission, thank you
It's not matter that you replay mission, it's random and sometimes maybe this issue doesn't happen because it's of bad AI driving, also BI didn't changed this mission or AI driving since you created this ticket.
This issue should have been fixed a while ago, please re-open if you experience it again. Thank you.
The problem is that it is not reproducible for us. Could you please try to create a new ingame profile and try again?
You can use a cheat to unlock the mission and then revert from the one you want.
https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Cheats
okay, ill try it, i did restart the campaign once i reach the mission again ill let you know what happens
new profile? I can't grasp your meaning.
problem is mostly AI driving, one of the hunters stuck in a tree or other obstacles somewhere near that complex, after that when squad move to pyrgos, he still stuck there and squad leader is inside that too, when we disembark near pyrgos mission fails because we are too far from our squad leader.
me still have this issue too.
Also happens for me, what is going on? after each update more bugs adds to game, we are really weird!
any news on reproduceability or confirmation of a bug, i havent heard anything from the devs
i am not running any mods in single player and i have restarted the mission a couple of times and i run into the same problems
Hello,
are you using any mods? Did restart of the mission help?
This was fixed, close the issue
@Killzone_Kid "Regular"
Extended Armor protection is off
So you wanna tell me about how the human skulls of the CSAT, AAF, and NATO soldiers have evolved to be made out of steel?
The issue is HEADSHOTS, TO THE FACE do not consistently kill in one shot. That 5.56 and 6.5 hit the exposed pelvic areas, the face, neck, shoulder areas that the body armor pieces and helmets clearly don't cover and it is doing as little damage as if it was hitting the middle of a heavy chest plate at a shallow angle. The types of ammo HAVE ALWAYS kept up with the types of armor. Not too mention AAF are in reality a VERY tiny army with guns like the F2000 made in 2001, making it 34 years old in the game, and many decades old vehicles in all areas but their MRAP. Why would they have super armor? The NATO soldiers also are suffering budget cuts and they are getting shot by advanced 6.5mm rounds, 6.5mm rounds will do well against armors well into the forsee-able future, especially in areas where the main armor vest doesn't cover. The armor simulation is not good enough, only if you hit the main vest at a shallow angle should rounds to so little damage, anywhere else it should take NO MORE than 3 shots to neutralize a guy, more like 1-2 shots in most cases.
What difficulty settings is the game set at?
