ARMA III crashes when trying enter MP

Description

ARMA III crashes when ever the following occurs:

  • Starting the game fresh and trying to review MP servers. It crashes with in the first 2 seconds
  • After leaving a MP session and being thrown back to the server page same as above occurs.

The only way i can play MP is wait until one of my STEAM friends is in game and go through the STEAM option to 'Join Game'.

This has only been occurring the last few weeks. I have had a break from ARMA for some for a month or so before this.

I am sure i am not the only one with this issue and have read other posts but i can not seem to get a FIX.

Steps To Reproduce
  • START ARMA III (through STEAM & normal Shortcut menu [I have tick the run as admin box])
  • Wait for loading then select PLAY > MUTLIPLAY (servers start to load)

Then it crashes every time.

Hello,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
We need crash dump files from this folder for solve your problem.
C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When package will be smaller than 5000k, you can attach it here. When package is bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here.

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.

Hello, this should be already fixed on Steam Dev, could you please change to Steam Dev version and try it?
