You reported this as an ARMA 3 bug.

Happened again and this time it came with the surprise of deleting contents of my inventory. I had my KM-A in my hand and just killed a player. It made a lot of noise and zombies started spawning. I went into a house, locked the door, and dropped my protective case on the ground to retrieve my rags. I bandaged, put the rags back, reloaded my KM-A, and took the protective case back to my inventory. I unlocked the door, opened it, ran out, and wielded my pistol with a suppressor then aimed at the closest zombie. Immediately, the gun was stuck in my hands pointing at the sky. I tried switching to my KA-M, but that didn't work. I ran back into the house and closed the door, then proceeded to logout while waiting the full fifteen seconds since this is the only reliable way to fix this glitch. From the character menu, I clicked "Play" and was put back into the game only to find my rifle and protective case were deleted. I searched all over, they weren't on the ground.
Are your graphics settings configured for "Windowed" or "Fullscreen"?

Do you have evidence of hacking?
If you don't want the public commenting, file a private bug report next time.
Preventative strategies are one aspect. Again, I don't work for BI. You claim there are hackers, I stated I have never seen any, you refuse to supply evidence of your claim. Again, you need to calm down. You are behaving childishly.
Yes we do. It's called incident response.
Calm down, I don't work for BI, but I do work in Cybersecurity and in my line of work we require evidence.
What proof of hacking do you have? I've spent over 1,000 hours on Public/Veteran and have never encountered a hacker.

You should have made this private since it has the potential to be exploited.
Dec 21 2018
This can be closed. These servers are back online.
Dec 20 2018
Actually, yes. I was wondering where the flare on the ground came from. Alright, so the items don't vanish, they spill onto the ground. I will update the ticket description.

When you were able to unlock it, were you connected to the original server you locked the door on?
Dec 18 2018
This is resolved in 1.0
Please note that I reported this as well and in one instance, I was not quickly changing servers. I had logged off to take a break, came back later and connected to a different server and lost multiple items from my inventory including a backpack full of items. https://feedback.bistudio.com/T135227
It possible that if you didn't wait the full fifteen seconds when logging out that someone ran up on you and killed you. I have killed many players trying to fast exit the game.
No you didn't. Look at the top of the page where it is tagged "public"
You should have made this private. People will read your report and crash servers on purpose.

Still happening. I was laying prone, used a hotkey to equip my gun, moved to crouching, right-clicked to raise gun, middle-clicked to aim down sights and then the gun is stuck pointing in the air. Only was to fix was to run and log out.
I need to update the steps to reproduce on this. I have it wrong.
This is definitely happening with regularity. I have placed multiple wire mesh barriers and filled them with dirt, left for five or ten minutes and returned to find they had vanished.
Actually this is still an issue. I will update the steps to reproduce.
This should be closed. I no longer have the framerate issues except for when server performance degrades.
This has happened to me on multiple occasions, each when connecting to another server. In the most recent example, I had not changed my inventory around any time recently. I logged off, came back later and logged into a different server. I got the database timeout error, and when I was finally able to connect to a server much of my inventory was gone, including my backpack.

It just happened again. I will update the steps to reproduce.

You really should have made this a private bug report. Now this stacktrace can be used to crash servers.
Check your settings: is it set to Windowed or Full screen mode? Change it to full screen if it is set to windowed.
Did you do a database wipe before updating to 1.0?

Confirmed I no longer have runtime performance issues.
I haven't tested, but I thought this might be the problem.
This is fixed!
A user on Reddit uploaded a capture of a similar issue. I believe it's the same glitch, but I could be mistaken. https://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/a5v43v/yup_completely_new_game_guys/
Just FYI, all of these issues have been addressed in the latest experimental update.
This has been fixed.
This has been fixed.
Crashes have been almost non-existent the past few updates, although I did observe one crash yesterday immediately after I shot and killed two players. That could have been a coincidence.
Confirmed this is fixed in the latest experimental build.
This no longer caused crashing in the most recent experimental build. I thought I had made this a private report. My apologies.
I added camo netting to the tents and was no longer able to walk through their walls.
I can corroborate that this also happened to me on the latest experimental branch. All other dynamically placed items remained through the night until this morning except for the wiremesh barriers. They were also filled with dirt.
This is no longer an issue on latest experimental.
This is still a problem on the latest experimental.
This happened again on latest experimental. I was carrying a car tent when a player began running at me. I rapidly pressed 'G' to drop the tent, hotkey to equip rifle, right-click to aim, middle-click to zoom. The gun was stuck pointing at the sky. I couldn't shoot, aim, unequip, or equip anything else until I found a safe place to exit and re-enter the game.
