jesolo,
glad to hear it's working for you. To increase your fps would be to upgrade the whole PC. Look here this is not bad for a new system. All you would have to do is upgrade the videocard. Looks like about $320 us. So very good price, as you can't buy the parts and put it together yourself for that price. Would cost twice that in the US.

Arma 3 Activity
May 10 2016
Thank you for answer. These mods are very useful in multiplayer (EUTW) sessions, which i play most, so it will be sad to delete them:)
well, looks like its work yet :) maybe you know how to raise fps without changing pc parts, even just a little bit?some links?
jesolo,
I didn't mean delete your mods. I just want you to start the game without them loaded so we can setup your video settings. Since you have a GeForce 9600 GT videocard we can change some setting to help you play Arma3 without crashing. So first lets make sure you have the correct videocard drivers. You seem to have the wrong one installed.
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING ONCE BEFORE STARTING> ANY QUESTIONS THEN STOP AND EMAIL FIRST BEFORE GOING ON OR GUESSING IF YOU ARE UNSURE. Thanks
- Click on Start- programs-windows update and install all the updates including optional ones until you have no updates left to do. You may have to restart your computer between updates, that is normal. Open device manager and make sure you do not have any errors yellow or red warnings, before continuing. IF YOU DO TAKE A SCREEN SHOT AND UPLOAD IT BEFORE GOING ON. Thanks
- download the latest driver here http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/82758.
click on agree and download and install.
3.right click on your desktop and then Nvidia control panel
4.Go to 3D Settings- then adjust image settings with preview
- Check let the 3D application decide- then apply.
- open windows explorer to this location. Arma3 uses it own direct x so we need to install this one.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma3\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\dxsetup.exe
7.open steam and right click on Arma3 - then properties. uncheck the box enable the steam overlay while in-game.
- Open set launch options, and if there is anything here delete it, and close.
- Click on local files and then verify the integrity of the game cache. When it's done wait a few minutes for steam to finish the dish cache ( it does take a few minutes )
- Click on the play Arma3 button and open the launcher.
- Click on parameters then basic the only boxes that should be checked are "no splash" and "Skip intro"
- Click on advance tab here NOTHING SHOULD BE CHECKED! So if you did check boxes here please uncheck them.
- Click on Mods tab- make click on unload all. This will make sure you aren't loading any. As we already delete everything in the command line except to start Arma3 with no intro and no splash.
Well now lets click on play and start Arma3. The first thing is go to configure then video. Click on auto-detect and let Arma3 set the video for you, then click OK.
You should now be able to click on play then multiplayer and pick a server. Make sure that it is not one with mods loaded. After joining and playing you can then close Arma3 and load your mods through the launcher and join the server you like.
jesolo,
This is easy to fix. You are having the same issue I and quite a few other did when we tried to play Arma3 on a low end system. You need to upgrade your pc or you will have the same problem. It might work better if you first deleted all this settings after the exe
-exThreads=5 -cpuCount=2 -skipintro -malloc=system -name= -cpuCount=2 -exThreads=2 -high -maxMem=4096-noPause -noSplash -world=empty -nosplash "-mod=D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@A3_FreeAim_Fix_0.4;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\BaBe_midTex_27_08_13\@BaBe_midTex;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@HRP;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\st_ui\@sthud;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\st_stamina_bar\@st_stamina_bar;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\@CBA_A3;@CBA_A3;Addons;st_stamina_bar;D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3"
try running the game with just arma3.exe no command line setting and no mods.

I have the same problem. Error report is uploaded.
Hello,
thank you for your feedback and sorry for the trouble you are having with the game.
Please try to reinstall Steam. Also please check whether it is not blocked by any Anti-Virus or a Firewall.
Thank you.
Hello,
try to disable hardware acceleration of Launcher:
- Open Options menu.
- Click on the Launcher Options menu item.
- Check the option "Disable Launcher's UI hardware acceleration".
- Restart Launcher.
Thank you for the update - I went in to do that and was looking for the launcher - and as I was digging through I found out that somehow the mod I was using was unchecked and turned off - which was causing the issue. it just happened to coincide with a windows update on security that I was unable to uninstall or roll back.....
This is fixed in the current beta, it turns out quotes have been replaced by the single '
old
format["EndGameLogs\%1_(%2)_(%3)_(%4-%5-%6).txt"
new
format['EndGameLogs\%1_(%2)_(%3)_(%4-%5-%6).txt'
Confirmed started for me with the same update and was working fine over the weekend.
The line 304 is this
format["EndGameLogs\%1_(%2)_(%3)_(%4-%5-%6).txt", [] call BIS_fnc_getNetMode, _parameters select 0, profileName, missionStart select 3, missionStart select 4, missionStart select 5] diag_exportMessageDetails [];
but it's missing a ; between missionStart select 5] "should be here" diag_exportMessageDetails [];
At least that's what it looks like to me.
The custom JIP ID should be returned by the remoteExec/Call commands just as well in tomorrow DEV build, please check and report back.
Yep. Excellent, just put it through a little testing using the mission attached to the ticket and remotely removing from JIP que from debugConsole on client. All seems good. Thank you.
I agree this is not entirely polished and could do with a few tweaks. However when you provide your own string for JIP ID, this is basically your unique id, which you can use later to manage JIP queue, so returning it, would be just copying input to output (not the worst idea actually). Otherwise you can request random one, which you can then store and use to manage JIP queue.
Aye could do with changing.
This..
_veh = createVehicle ["B_MRAP_01_F", _somePos, [], 0, "CAN_COLLIDE"];
_veh setvariable ["JIP_ID", [_veh] remoteExec ["fnc_doSomething",0,format["veh_%1",netid _veh]]];
Makes a whole lot more sense to me than having to...
_veh = createVehicle ["B_MRAP_01_F", _somePos, [], 0, "CAN_COLLIDE"];
_JIP_ID = format["veh_%1",netid _veh];
_nul = [_veh] remoteExec ["fnc_doSomething",0,_JIP_ID];
_veh setVariable ["JIP_ID", _JIP_ID];
Been a while since i test it last but i could of sworn it originally did.
Full quote..
Nil in case of error. String otherwise. If JIP is not requested this is an empty string. Otherwise this is an unique JIP ID.
No error so its not Nil.
String otherwise. <<<<<
If JIP is not requested this is an empty string. << i am requseting JIP
Otherwise this is an unique JIP ID. <<<< Contradicts first statement, but it is unique im supplying it ??
Quote from remote execution wiki page.
The JIP id is a unique key under which the JIP MP message is being stored in the JIP queue on the server. When you set isPersistent flag to true, the JIP id is auto-generated on the machine the remote execution was initiated. If you set the isPersistent flag to specific string, that string is considered to be the JIP id.
The auto-generated JIP is always unique. If the JIP is manually supplied, the content author needs to make sure it is unique, otherwise he/she will overwrite another MP msg that is currently stored in the queue under the JIP id.
If the JIP is manually supplied, the content author needs to make sure it is unique <<< Again is unique as i supplied it
Its crazy idea if only a generated ID is returned. Makes a whole lot more sense to return ANY ID if JIP is requested so you can look after your own que and delete any that become unneeded.
As per description on https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/remoteExec
"Return Value: ... Otherwise this is an unique JIP ID..."
and
"JIP (Optional): ... If true, function generates a unique ID...."
Basically, JIP ID returned only when JIP param is true. TBH I don't remember it returning JIP string under any other condition.
No ordinary game flow possible . Please fix it.
same here
also the same problem
Same problem. Fix it, please.
same here
every day 4-8 crashes...do something Bohemia!
Same here...
Another day...another crash...pls fix this
Why dont you use the 1.52 legacy version?
BTW im playing on 3 different servers and all work pretty good. 1 is crashing sometimes but the server admins are working on it (it happen like 1 time a day).
so seems that the update works somehow maybe just the mission maker of your altis life need to maintain their mission?
Just adding:
http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=26878&nbn=21
doesnt it seems strange that everyone!!!!! is using Alti Life and the servers are not working??? Maybe Altis Life is broken? Ever thought about it?
Here some thing to read:
http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=24954
Found theor topic on the forums https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/185777-armstalker-online-%E2%80%93-in-development/
While adding more realism is a good intention, it breaks the game for mods and servers accustomed to a more forgiving approach on internal vehicular damage.
We have a Server where high speed (200km/h+) car chases across Altis play a big, vital part in our gameplay. Having the players die on every mid-size-rock contact really breaks the fun.
A possibility of overriding the values to their original settings and knowing exactly what was changed since 1.54 would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Even driving trucks is horrible now. Hitting small stones at 25km/h gives high damage values since v1.54.
In the changelog i only find this change:
Fixed: Adjusted damage inside of vehicles according to new character protection values
What does this means? How can i modify it to old collision damage values?
Fixed on hotfix #2
@Barbolani
JIP doesn't mean player coming from nowhere. Name all your playable units.
Spawned supports work in SP/MP as far as variables are defined.
Understood, will try!
Works for me Thank you.
Hi Adam,
What about the spawned supports and MP JiP environment. A global variable with the player unit will solve the issue too?
@Adam, thank you for your answer and your temporaly solution,
With adding name to the playable unit,
Works 100% for me, tested with all virtual support module. No problem.
Hello, please try adding name to the playable unit in editor. Sorry for any inconvenience.
+1 confirmed.
It could be simpler to list what goes well after 1.54
just issued the same ticket. ... (Sigh)
