Helicopters need to be less sensitive to water in general.
Even when only the Ka-60's landing gear are touching the water, the engine gets damaged pretty quickly.

I don't sssssseee any problem with the abundance of sssssnakessss.
I think it has been fixed by now.
I agree, but it's not PIP, and there's the TAO folding map mod which is what you've described.
But for gameplay's sake they should be brighter, as they're useless right now. Or at least fix the pop out issue
This issue is very annoying, I hope BIS didn't forget about it
Agreed, an underwater pistol would allow for basic underwater combat while allowing divers to use their main weapons for land warfare.
Agreed, after all, what's the point of having rails on top, bottom and sides if you can only attach a single laser/flashlight.

Having the ability to fire rockets/missiles from vehicles would be a good feature gameplay wise, there's no on foot backblast so why should there be vehicle back blast? At least they could have this optional.
Besides, an explanation for this could be that rocket launchers in 2030 use cold launch/reduced backblast version, which would have minimal effects on the origin vehicle.
Firing from vehicles would bring a lot of combat opportunities, for example an APC/Car storming a compound with the passengers firing suppressive fire on enemy locations, a helicopter performing a hot drop, chasing a vehicle or hovering while allowing a mounted sniper to take out enemies.
It would bring tactical choices such as throwing grenades/glowsticks from a helicopter, using binos or a laser designator and even firing a rocket at an enemy.
Firing rockets while in a helicopter or under a roof should be limited/have drawbacks such as damaging/killing everyone inside, but it should be possible when the rocket launcher is outside. E.g when firing from a boat, or from as the roof gunner of a vehicle or as a turned out tank/apc crewman.
Plus there are rocket launchers that don't produce backblast while being launched such as the AT-4 CS, and in 2030 more rocket launchers should use this tech.
In real life there aren't magical crates filled with huge stacks of weapons, ammo and gear from different types, free for any soldier to take.
A more realistic solution would be having a loadout editor before spawning/starting the match, but that would take too much development time.
Whoever disagrees because this is against the Geneva Conventions, does not understand what ArmA is.
ArmA is a sandbox military game, where mission authors define the game rules.
If a mission author decides that all factions should fight conventionally only, he can disable this feature, otherwise an author should be able to enable this.
Some missions might be themed about covert ops, that are based on false flag operations, some missions might involve rogue factions, so obviously this feature should be available.
As of the beta, the eject option is available for passengers, but it's not available for the pilot, copilot and crew members(door gunners)
It should be made available for the flight crew because:
- There's no physical reason why a pilot can't open the door and get out of his chopper in air, although it's dangerous and result in him/his parachute being ripped by the rotor blades and be smashed by the falling chopper, players should have the choice to eject in midair.
- The eject option does not turn off the engine, this is useful when a pilot needs to get out of his chopper momentarily and keep the engines on, for a fast takeoff.
