how to do it is simply just bind the surrender to a key in the profile config file since its not available ingame.

Additional Information

I am guessing you know this since you left this out of the main game but still it destroys the realism and emersion quite alot if someone would do this in the multiplayer

This issue is very annoying, I hope BIS didn't forget about it

How to enable the Surrender Action by binding to a keyboard key:

  1. Manually edit the user profile file text file (ie: roger/My Documents/ARMA 3/roger.Arma3Profile) with a text editor.
  1. Find the Surrender action and bind to key "27" which designates the ']' key.

Currently, this abnormal movement is fixed but now I cannot undo the surrender action, or un-surrender! The surrender action simulates invisible handcuffs or an invisible jail preventing the user of any movement, which is unrealistic!

In reality, the person capturing an individual must first guard or further imprison the individual.

Confirm what rogerx says.

player playActionNow "surrender";

This used to send you sideways but now it does put you in surrender mode.

However you are now stuck in surrender mode.

Same with AI you can't break them out of it.

You can get them to play other animations but they go back to surrender.
