So, I was able to load the mission which should follow after the briefing stuck - from the main menu. You can try that.

I really dont understand why AAF(INDP) flag is replicated on the left(I can understand the US flag). Its stupid and should be changed back to way it was before, so that we(modders) can use different flag/patch on each sleeve!

I am afraid that the programmers forgot to fix this also for sidearm. Just switch to your sidearm, pick up a new sidearm from ammobox and here we go = switch to primary rifle. I think you should not switch to primary weapon when taking new sidearm.
The sounds for supressor are missing since the "audio" update 07-05-2013(EXE rev. 05007 (0.57).
Hopefully they will add this sound soon.
This is still present in the recent dev. branch update rev. 105957.
I have the exact same issue and can confirm that problem is caused by XAudio2_6.dll as explained by Squelch.
I will not attach the rpt and dxdiag to avoid confusion. However, let me know if you need them from me too.

That video from VBS2 posted by CincoSete above is a perfect example of how it could work in Arma 3.

We definitely need this. Yesterday, I was in situation where I could escape if I would have been able to climb over the wall, but of course I was not and got killed because there was no other way to escape quickly.
DisasterMaster: I did not down-voted this ticket, I did the exact opposite. And no, I am not here to decide "development pipeline". So please stop being an a-hole and start respect other people opinions. All I said was that there are also other features that should be implemented and this is not the ONLY one.
I think what we have in-game right now is enough, there are more important features which should be implemented first, like bipods, firing from vehicles or realistic wounding system...
I am definitely up for this. Of course it will affect performance, but if we could have an option for on/off(for people with slower PCs), then I dont see a problem with implementing this.

I can reproduce this, just place yourself in the editor as OPFOR rifleman and look at the helmet shadow from 3rd person(visible) and then from the 1st person(not visisble).

I didnt have time to test other helmets and NVGs, but I remember I saw this issue also on BLUFOR units...
