No, I have the same problem with core i3 and HD 4000. Maybe a video memory issue or something like that. It would be better if we could disable the wet effect.
It would just be stupid to stack too many bags in one, because everytime you want to pick up something you have to put your bags on the ground, and it might disappear for whatever reason.

That's probably not a problem with experimental. I have the same problem on stable, I have to wait a long time before seeing the server list or favorite servers list. However the list of recently played servers displays immediately. This happened a few hours ago.
How do you know that those gunshots were not directed at you? Something like that already happened to a friend, he thought he heared gunshots, his pants were ruined. I told him it was probably a sniper, a few minutes after that he got abducted by rapist poles.
Pristine stuff actually protects you from gunshots, I think that if the guy opens fire from a very long distance, the pants might have taken all the damages from the shot. Also it could be an invisible zombie under the floor. I know that if you go on the third floor of office buildings, and that they remain on the first floor, they can still hurt you brom beneath.
Yet this ruined pants problem also happened to me in a isolated place with no one around, and no zombies in this location.
I just lost 2 yellow boxes with stuff inside, including a LR scope. This is quite boring. This is the first time something like that happens in my inventory.
I think you actually break your legs without falling, because when I found my friend who got somewhat disconnected right in front of me, he was still in front of me, dead, with his pants ruined.
Yes, you should look into your internet router options and see if:
- your firewall options are set to normal.
- If "respond to ping" is activated.
- If UPNP is activated.
No it works for Standalone now, I tried it.
- Delete DayZ, name and name.vars in your documents/Dayz.
- Go into your game settings in Steam (right click on Dayz) and verify the integrity of your game cache.
- Try to install Play WithSix if nothing has changed.
You have a filter set at 100 ping (default). If your ping is higher than that you won't see any server in your list.
Same for me and my friend. My friend got disconnected, we both logged back on the server. I found him dead with his pants destroyed although there was no zombie around and we were on the first floor and the only 2 ones on the server. Then this happened to me a few minutes after that when I tried to join another server.
My bandwidth is totally fucked. The game uses 90% of it. I think the lag comes from there. Check your bandwidth.
I confirm that this also works with other players.
Did you put the ping settings to max? That happens to me but it is solved by restarting the game.
You could try to connect directly to DayZ servers until your problem is solved:
You should be allowed to carry a rifle instead of a melee weapon. I don't see why you couldn't wear a Mosin instead of this heavy fireaxe.
This happened to me twice in a few days of gaming. I spent a long time finding the best stuff, and while I was clearing Stary Sobor with a friend, we both got disconnected and reset on the coast without our stuff. Of course I couldn't find the corpses, either because they clipped through the floor of the house or because they simply disappeared. I see no point continuing playing this alpha with this bug. I can accept all kind of errors, zombies getting through walls, stuff disappearing on the floor, corpses slipping down, but not this one.
Please fix it as soon as possible so that I can play again, or find some provisional way to save our stuff and spawn more easily on the map.
No problem with camera. The only problem is that you can put your head in the walls. It works with first person view as well.
Last week there was a night without moon on all servers, that was indeed unplayable and not realistic, you couldn't see where you were walking even with contrast and gamma maxed.
On some servers the night is so dark that even changing those settings won't allow you to see anything without a torchlight.
I have a random zombie sound on experimental every 5 seconds, it's not stopping and it has been lasting for hours. It's starting to get on my nerves.
It would be nice to have an answer from the dev team. Are they trying to fix it or not? It should be their most important concern at the moment.
I lost my character 2 days ago while connecting around midnight reset (GMT+1), I forgot to watch the clock. Then I uninstalled Dayz again, I'm tired of losing my character.
