I think I expressed myself badly. I found not normal the fact that I shot the engine and it was red outside the vehicule but inside, in the driver seat, the engine icon was orange. I just knew it was destroyed by trying to put a battery in the battery slot (but I didn't shoot the battery area or any other part of the vehicule, I drove the truck just before it worked fine).
I just regret there is no smoke coming out of the engine and the red engine out of the vehicule / whereas there is an orange engine icon in the vehicule. For most players, it can be difficult to understand why the truck is not working because they can think it functional as the engine icon is orange in the truck. It can just lead to confusion.
So the engine icon within the truck should go red instead of orange and probably that some smoke coming out could help players understand that the vehicule is destroyed.

We would suggest removing all the mods, deleting your DayZ documents folder and then verify the game data.
Once done, launch the vanilla version and if it works without issues, load mods and try to connect again.

If this occurs upon connection onto a specific server then you will have to request character deletion from the server owner.

The crash dump points towards nvppex.dll file, indicating a problem with your GPU drivers. Please do a clean installation and check your OS for any corrupted installations/files. Also make sure your system is up to date.
Disabling HWAA in the game might resolve the issue but the root cause is somewhere on your system.
There is also a chance that if you are running Nvidia app instead of Ge-force experience that that is the cause of the problem.

Are investigation outcomes disclosed? Had a few suspect incidents with a 2 stack in/near Sarnowek over the last 7 days.

The vehicle body has its own separate health from engine, wheels, fuel tank etc. Therefore the vehicle can be ruined while the other parts are not.

Seems like you have joined some sort of fake server which downloads mod for another server it redirects to.
We suggest deleting all the installed mods and try to join another server. We also suggest trying the official servers.

Can you try to disable all programs running except for DayZ to see if the issue persists? Was the windows 11 a clean install? Are all your drivers up to date? are you running any sort of overclocking?
Are you using mods?
Does the issue occur on completely vanilla installation of the game?
Do you run any overlay programs or something such as RivaTuner that could be causing the issue?
Is there enough memory allocated?

All right. Never mind. I successfully trapped the invisible zombie in a building.

Yes pretty sure i tried to wait for one in a house, once it hit me in the house i ran for the door closed it and then no more hitting, i trapped it like a zombie, so i think zombies are bugged since the last update they did 17/07/2025. Same kind of problems apparently happened back in 2019. Players were reporting about that

Are you absolutely sure about that? The behaviour is like a player hitting another player not like a zombie, meaning classical fist attack.

To be clear, I tried :
Deleting dayz documents files three times with different conditions
updating gpu drivers and installing previous version
windows memory test
deleting nvidia app
changing video settings multiple times
making dayz documents not read only
disabling steam overlay
reinstalling the game and then battleeye
none of this helped, I dont really want to reinstall widnows and im not really sure if it will help.

Just had same experience on Livionia Experimental. It´s someone using mk2 and aimbot got attacked out of reach of zombies and after using an epi pen to run away pretty far

same. across multiple locations, various official exp servers attempted, invisible/silent attacker.

Please refer to this video. I can holster/equip my side arm, then switch to aux, no issues. Once I force equip my sidearm while equipping aux, I can no longer unequip or drap the sidearm. If I was to shoot, it wouldnt hit anything either

Why is this still not fixed after 6 months??

Been getting a lot of these...like 3-4x/day. Just had 2 within 10 minutes of each other.

The issue seems to be happening when I switch weapons. As you can see, it stops allowing me to change weapon, and I cant even drop. This is new, within just the last day. Never had this happen before, now it's happening all the time. Even from my home computer.

Geez. That icon is always there. This issue is persisting across different computers. I have more than 3000 game hours logged. This is the first time this has happened, and it continues to happen. I cant change weapons either. I cant drop the gun.
Playing again today. Will report back.

Have you tried putting half the tent in the watchtower (the bag inside the tent being in the watchtower) and the other half of the tent being out of the watch tower ?

in general, I solved the problem with this crutch, everything seems to work as intended
