Update: Try to disable your parameters, only ones that seem to work to make me not crash are nosplash skipintro and thats about it. also try to take the mods out of your arma 3 folder before playing vanilla!!

The game is unable to initialize a graphical subsystem. Possible solutions:

Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
Disable the Steam Overlay.

This has been already fixed in version v1.55.133505 and above of DEV branch and should appear in the next stable release.

we're sorry for the inconvenience. This issue is caused by the Windows update KB3078601 and there is nothing we can do to prevent the issue at this time. You can either uninstall the update or wait for Microsoft to release a fixed version of the update.

Same with <TASK> getVariable <ARRAY>

just noticed that the other alt syntax is also missing for locations
<LOCATION> setVariable [<STRING>, <ANY>, <BOOL>]

You could add a local event to every unit in the group instead and check if it's the group leader. A group will always be local to the machine where it's leader is local afaik.

As an example: The bipod feature got its implementation after two years.

Duplicating tickets may end in more work for the developers to clean the feedback tracker.

These two things - at least in my opinion - you cannot really compare. And the bipod took about 10 Years. And this thread shouldnt be about us two fighting if the other thread will be handled by a dev or not. It is about the Riot Shield if it should come to ArmA 3.

Other users did that already. Nothing happened. As I said its 2 years old.

Why have you created a new ticket about that feature request? The feedback tracker is full of duplicates. Better support the existing ticket, bump it with upvotes and some note.

I can see that you have moved Launcher program onto your desktop instead of creating a shortcut to it. Launcher needs other files from Arma 3 installation folder to run. You should create a shortcut to the Arma3Launcher.exe that is in the Arma 3 installation folder instead of moving or copying the file.

These days it doesn't work between 5:30pm and midnight, but it works the rest of the time... I don't understand...

yeah i think that might be the problem...Im gonna be using AMD's Crossfire system soon. It lets you use two graphics cards at once, increasing the quality of the game. I hope that clears this issue up.

I have a clean reticle. For me it will only become blurry if I turn up the depth of field over 25.

Try to turn up the sharpening filter. Maybe you will get a better result.

Don't forget, Dsylecxi is using a 4K resolution for his videos nearly since a year.

What resolution do you use?

Not able to replicate. From the image supplied the image within the reticle seems to be the same as the rest of the image at the same distance. Could this possibly be hardware/GPU related at your end? Unless you are refering to the LoD of the reticle being the same as the LoD for that distance, which I don't see being changed anytime soon due to technical reasons.

I don't want to be offensive but do you really think, that you are the first one that complains about that issue (your ticket number is 27.231)?

I want to be kind and help you:

Turn down your depth of field and enjoy some "crisp and clean" reticle.

The DOF is down to ZERO but the reticle is still blurred a bit.

Could you please export your game log files from the launcher?

Steps on how to export logs from ARMA 3 Launcher:

1. Start ARMA 3 Launcher
2. Click Options menu
3. Drop down menu will appear
4. Select: Prepare Arma Troubleshooting error and save those files
5. A notification will pop up with the name of the generated file

Please note that the files might take a while to collect.

Attach the generated files to the ticket. If the files are too big please use some free file sharing service.

The first Log file is My Launcher Log file and the second is the Troubleshooting error log. I have Test this game With and without Mods and all mem allocator. but is will be crash after 5mins

it looks like the crash dumps were not created (we need rpt + bidmp + mdmp file). It could be that your game actually did not crash or it crashed and was killed off (via task manager) too quickly for crashdumps to create.

Next time it freezes, please try to wait a minute or two so the dumps have time to create. If there are no crashdumps after then, we'll try to find another solution.

the library is part of the Windows. By putting it in Arma 3 folder you've fixed Arma 3 Launcher, but other applications can have the same issue.

Hi, it did the job. I copied the 'UIAutomationCore.dll from my other sim game to the Arma3 folder and it is now launching the arma3launcher and I am able to play it now thru steam. Thank you very much for the help. This was my long time problem and I am glad that it is resolve now. Happy New Arma3 2016.
