Also having this issue. Probably lost a dozen missions - for a while I was saving each mission twice (e.g. "Mission Name" and "Mission Name Back Up") and when one was erased I would load the other and save over the erased one. Eventually both came up empty at the same time. I haven't noticed anything consistent that seems to be causing it.

Same happened to me, the mission I was editing last night came up empty today.
Hello, Revive is supported for only respawn type 2 and 3.
Thank you for your ticket.
Is there no chance for implementing "Revive" for respawn types 4 and 5?
Thanks for your answere!
Respawn 5, it is when you play with character Ai along with you.
In his game, has some AI soldier following you?
Yes, I have some AI-Soldiers of the same side (in both cases BLUFOR) either running along or staying back at starting point.
So my idea was that if a player gets shot, he can be revived, but if time is exceeded, he can choose another AI-soldier to stay in the game.
My last *.mdmp file I have was arma3_2015-09-06_23-41-36.mdmp.7z. I see no other *.mdmp files, and I do not know why. (ie. If I have a arma3_2015-09-06_23-41-36.mdmp.7z, where is the original I ask myself.)
Oh wait, I replaced the Windows system debugger, and now they're being handed to Windbg, per the Additional Information. But then there is nothing within my /mnt/windows7/Windows/Minidump/ folder. (Performing a more extensive search for the Mini Dump files.)
UPDATED 2015.11.24 0032: I went back and restarted ARMA 3 developement version and I am not getting handed a Mini Dump file via WinDbg.exe. I am guessing at this point ARMA 3 is not loading far enough or executing far enough to generate a Minidump file. I'm guessing the answer to this bug already lies within the attached files already.
UPDATED 2015.11.24 0037: Examing the .rpt file a little further, I see a "error X3501: 'PSPostProcessGlowNewFinalNightNone': entrypoint not found" and seems to be a subsection of the DirectX 11 Engine initialization. No entrypoint might be as critical as a file not found or function/variable not defined.
I am also getting this error
JustinK: I was getting this error with apparently 1.54 RC. (Forgive me for apparently forgetting to further state within the description, as I do not think the version slots have a further list of possible versions to file against.)
Odd little error as I no longer see this with the current 1.54 version. I was almost ready to speculate this was related to the memory run being seen within the server application, but now remember I wasn't even starting to run the client. I'm currently starting & running the now stable 1.54 release without this error. Wonder if it's something localized to the ARMA Tools I used to download this version with? Or something localized to the other than stable branches?
I just re-executed the GameUpdater and still getting this error & crash.
Could you please attach .mdmp file? It has the same name as the .rpt and .bidmp you have attached.
After disabling the "-noLogs" parameter, I now get a "Error creating Direct 3D 11 engine"
It would meter if you changed the connection permanently, so it doesn't matter if you only connected once. Although it might be good idea to try to update the list while on a different connection to see if that helps.
How to join Steam Client Beta:
- Go to Steam > Settings in the Steam client. The Beta Participation section will tell you if there are any beta programs available, or if you are currently running one of them.
- Click on the Change... button in the client participation section and select one of the choices available in the drop-list of beta programs.
- Click OK and restart Steam when you are prompted to do so.
- After the restart a window with Steam update has to appear. If it does not, restart the Steam again.
I figured out the solution. All you have to do is switch arma 3 to beta testing mode then switch out of it. I am more than happy that I am able to use my mods again and I thank you for taking your time to help me. I hope this helps anybody that has the same problem as me.
Good to hear you were able to solve the issue and thank you for sharing that solution with us.
These steps might help, but no guarantees:
- switch Steam client between off-line and on-line mode;
- switch to Steam beta client, restart the client, let it update to beta and then switch back;
- let Launcher run for some time, it might take some time for Steam to send the updated list.
Basically Steam should send the list of the subscribed mods every time you start Launcher and every time the list is changed. According to the logs, Steam send you corrupted list on 13th November and then it didn't send anything; before that it send you the list of subscribed items only on 24th,25th,26th October (that's the latest log there is). Is it possible that for example you internet connection changed in that time or anything that might be related to that?
Yes, my internet connection has changed recently. I went to my parents house recently and used their internet. Could that have something to do with it? I tried the Steam online to offline and that didn't work. How do I change the Steam client to beta? I will try that one first and if it doesn't work then i will let it sit with the launcher open and see if that doesn't fix it.
There you go I have added them.
No luck with that. If you have any other solutions that might have worked in the past, I'm all ears.
Hello,
we've seen this error before. Steam has updated the list of your subscribed items but didn't include tags that identify items as mods.
Only solution I can think of is go to Steam Workshop and subscribe and unsubscribe few items for Arma 3 while Launcher is running. That should force Steam to send the updated list, hopefully with correct tags.
Hello,
could you please upload Launcher logs so we can investigate what happened? You can create a ZIP archive with logs from Launcher menu in top right corner.
Similar crash can be found by placing a radio trigger and hitting 0 to bring up the radio command menu.
ah ok, did not know. Thank You
Should be fixed on Monday
I just updated the GPU drivers yesterday.
It has been going on since I purchased the game last Friday November 20th.
Hey, could you please update your GPU Drivers. Also how long is the issue present?
Probably related to radio triggers. Should be fixed on Monday
Looks to be all fixed up today as Killzone_Kid said :) You can close this as a dup of 26591 that Tony did log.
Getting the same issue

Well, it's possible if you define your own attribute. That init lines are not executed in 3den makes totally sense.
I uploaded my Arma Troubleshooting Error report.
Would be very helpful if animations were shown in the editor. Right now it reminds me of the old 2d one, where you had to preview to see the exactly location of a unit....
As far as I can tell, no init lines are shown in the Eden Editor which makes it seem less special - might as well use the 2D for everything and 3D just for object placement.

Fixed.

Now it only happens with certain missions. I will upload one more log and the test mission.
You may try the mission I uploaded. With that mission I can reproduce the crash consistently:
- Start the mission by previewing in 2D editor
- After the mission has started press 'F1' or another function key.
You're right, after spending a good few hours trying to figure out what mod was doing this and checking for conflicts it's still happening, although not running some mods made it more randomly crash rather than every time
Can confirm that its repeatable on the version released on the 21/12/15 (australain)
This is not mod related.
It is 100% reproducible. Pressing either a function key or the '^' for selecting your whole team crashes the game.
The bug appeared with the dev build from 19. Nov. 2015, and is still reproducible with todays build.
It appears to be mod related. I will upload the Log files just in case

Issue has been fixed in latest RC branch. Please mark as resolved.
Update: this only seems to happen on this particular mission. somehow the command menu breaks with during it.
Please remove system allocator and try to reproduce the issue again. Thank you.
