The sound is also bugged when this happens, the shot is very quiet, but still agroes all the zombies.

The first time it happened was with a bk break action rifle. The second time it happened was with an sk semi automatic rifle. My finger was nowhere near my right triggers. Curiously, the sk semi auto rifle fired twice. It almost seemed as if my double tap triangle input(which unloads a weapon) was somehow scrambled and read as the firing input.

Allowing “any” customizations to server configurations “could” enable server owners to offer unfair advantages for profit and capitalize off said systems. The customization capabilities seem fine for the PC community, why is it an issue for the console community? Is the issue the features themselves or the way they are being achieved currently (scripting)?

I don’t think that is kind of changes that makes the game more realistic cause this shaking ( while you’re holding breath ) doesn’t relate to your stamina bar or the weight you have carried or your stand ( crouching , laying down… ) , even in long ranges (+400) it’s more difficult to aim while you’re holding your breath, I think it’s a high priority task to fix for devs RN 👍

lying down you will need stamina only for shooting, since you can't run lying down and you can't fight either. besides, when you are lying down, you are vulnerable, which means you need some advantage in this position for balance. + to stamina would be a great solution :)

I have been trying to log onto servers for the last 4 days. Everytime I try I get the error code 0x00010001 and the message cannot connect to server as it is unreachable. I have checked the connection and there is nothing wrong at that end, I can play other games online without any issues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times. I have reset everything, tried a hotspot and still cannot get onto any server.

@arthur.morgan Having more stamina lying down for sniping would actually be a great addition to the game. Though part of me thinks it’ll some how turn into an exploit if not properly coded.

For sure you’re right it must be fixed, just a temporary solution I mentioned 👍

you are absolutely right if we are talking about aiming while standing, where your backpack is pulling you down. but if you are lying down, you can aim calmly, i suggest restoring stamina while lying down :)

When can we expect a patch to be rolled out? This should have been fixed the day after the 1.27 release imo

Because it’s not exactly easy to hold a gun perfectly still when you’re carrying hundreds of pounds of gear. It’s not about holding breath, the breath holding is just a video game trope so basing it on stamina capacity makes way more sense. Realistically you should be able to hold the guns way more stable irl but dayz has cartoony gunplay so.
