That might be one of the few games that surpasses ArmA in realistic infantry engagements and tactics. Literally every button on the keyboard is used in that game and it's just for infantry movements and actions.

that would be fun but i think it's priority should be low
Linkin is completely right, in real life grenades have a minimum arming distance, in fact the arming distance in arma 3 is actually less than it is in real life.

maybe a slight increase would be nice, although in reality smoke is mostly used for marking locations and less to conceal movement
I think that for short distances the running is fine but uphill it is extremely unrealistic
they definitely have too high of accuracy vs aircraft, while flying the MH-9 I've been shot out by infantry while moving at a good speeds.
while i haven't played ACE, the controls in ARMA 3 are so much better than in ARMA 2. I really like the current controls
I honestly don't think a melee option would be abused because it's only useful at close range (which isn't a bad thing). If some scrub was stupid enough to charge at an enemy at 300 meters away with his knife he would immediately get shot down. Plus if you consider the fact that when playing against other players and not AI, most combat never comes within the same house. That said it could still be very useful if employed properly and tacitly which is what ArmA is all about.
I disagree, all you have to do is point the weapon in the general direction of enemies and they all die because of the weapons high rate of fire
maybe it should stop them after a foot, but i saw the mythbusters episode and water does not like bullets. that's why there is an underwater gun in this game.
you should have to own ARMA 3 in order to make an account here
this thread brought up a new problem, whenever i submit something it tells me that i have timed out. because of this I have posted the same message around 8 times even though i deleted them. sorry guys
grenades are already extremely underpowered, unless they make 'aiming' them easier I say no.
