Alright, i just tried the game with the default settings.DayZProfile and i maxed out my ram again. Even if the graphic options of the ingame menu were set to the lowest. Here are the changes i did to the settings.DayzProfile:

The only different key bindings I have are for push-to-talk.

I have good news, i downloaded the newest driver and reduced my settings using the games options menu and the settings.DayZProfile at the same time, the game was using 6.25 gb of ram at one point but when my games session hitted 1 hour and 10 minutes it dropped back to 5.8 gb of ram. I will try again while using the default settings.DayZProfile and report back if i still max out my ram.

I close every programs i can when playing dayz 0.63 (except for steam) and the issue is still happening. I will try to update my GPU drivers to see if it fixed the issue.

I've respawned on another character, found an M68 and an ACOG and tried it with both, same thing happens.

Please note this happened on Stress test 0.63.148365, but has happened on recent previous versions.

Is it possible that you have lowered your arms by tapping the right mouse button while holding down the left mouse button? As we were unable to reproduce the issue by simply holding down left mouse button and letting go off it, but tapping the right mouse button while holding down the left one has produced this issue for us.

On a server, UK 2-1. I have not tried with other optics, I would have to find them first.

Were the items of the same inventory size or did their sizes differ? As this should occur only when it would result in the item being dropped and lost (which is intended for now).

Have you tried to disable every single application running in the background on your computer and then launching DayZ to see if it has any effect on the issue? Also, have you tried to re-install / update your video drivers? If not, please try and let us know if the behaviour of the issue has changed.

yeeah, but it should be a thing for everyone you know, not only about immersion but also makings things unnecessarily easy

Managed to reproduce it today.

I know the fix! You need to split ammo or rags until you don't have any space left in your inventory and then it forces to go to your hands.

Mostly only on the EU servsers... have not had this on the US servers.

I tried to increase it since you suggested it and sadly, it changed nothing for me.

Ye it eats much more RAM than experimental. Crashes whole game had to increase swap. Issue has stopped then. Guess it's not as much leak as huge usage of ram.

I tried stress test #41 and the memory leak is still present even if i delete the content of my dayz folder in documents. I asked to some players in the game if the issue is happening on their side, one of them said dayz never uses more than 3 gb of ram and he uses windows 10 64 bit pro, i asked someone else who is on windows 10 and he said dayz uses 7 gb of ram at the moment i asked him.

I've deleted the DayZ folder in Documents and it seems to have fixed it.

Sadly, i didnt have the time to connect to a server for stress test #41 since they just closed. But i heard from twitter the servers may be reopened today so i will try later.

Im gonna try stress test #41 right now after deleting the content of the DayZ folder in documents and i will report back if it keeps happening. Also i dont have any launch parameters.
