Maybe add a visible zone of access if current is intended usage.
Ya, and I tried it . . . doesn't work so well. Put the cache in the center of even a small box and the "inventory" screen notice doesn't come up unless you're looking at the EDGE of the box . . .not the box itself.
It would be a nice thing but the "area" needs to be increased or somehow made to work WITH other elements.
At this point . . it's a bug and needs to have a graphic of a "box" or some other such thing.
if the intention was to give other structures the ability of holding items, that's a great addition. but needed more description imho. thought the devs forgot to add the model :)
PS - oh you can access it, you just need to be close to it like any other cache . . . ergo the coolness factor of putting it with say a simple box . . . :-)
While I do see this as a bug given the nature of the item description. It is actually a pretty cool element as you can take any object and make it into a "weapons cache" . . . .a desk, a box, a truck, a container (as long as it's near the door) by co-locating the elements.
I agree with fixing it, but an option for "hidden cache" should be included as well as it allows for more variability to where things are "hidden".

The Pso-1 also zeroes.
Pso-1 zeroes up to 1000m on the elevation turret the chevrons then after are for rough I mean really rough guesses for shots past 1000m. I really truly mean rough since the quality of 7.62x54r varies so much.
So no the pso-1 scope was not done flawlessly in Arma 2.
You can zero DMS scope because you can zero PSO-1 scope in real life.
When you use PSO-1, you use the top wedge and elevation knob when you shoot at distances less than 1000m (you set the distance at 400m for example, and then you aim with the top wedge).
The lower wedges are only used to shoot at distances 1100m, 1200m and 1300m (you set the distance at 1000m, then you use the top wedge for 1000m and the lower ones for 1100m, 1200m and 1300m correspondingly).
I wish someone would make a short guide about the use of this on youtube or something.. I can't seem to get accurate shots with it either. I'm not sure if the amount of zoom also has something to do with the zeroing..
The amount of zoom has nothing to do with zeroing.
If you want to use DMS (or any other scope actually) follow the next steps:
- Acquire distance (you can use either DMS's parabolic rangefinder or vertical hash marks (angle between them is 1 mil)).
- Set the distance in your scope.
- Fire (use the top wedge (it's colored green) for aiming in case of DMS).
I guessing that it may affect other sounds (including shooting sound) too. But i do not tried other sounds.
Fixed awhile ago, closing.
Today's fix note:
"Fixed: Admin commands "kick" and "exec ban" not working properly"
#kick -> fully fixed, works with player list number, name and UID
#exec ban -> fully BROKEN, doesnt work at all now, period.

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name)

What I mean by "pretty much do anything", is that I cant say that a certain action causes the crash.

thank you for submitting the ticket. From the crashdumps you sent it can be told that you are running mod called "PUBattleRoyale." It is necessary you tried to run your Arma without any mods. If the crashes still happen then, please send another crashdumps.
Mods are not official content from Bohemia Interactive and it is possible that the CDS you have been experiencing are caused by these mods.

I made a thread similar to this issue that was closed, this was the "duplicate of" issue referenced.
However the sound happens every time and all the time with hand thrown grenades whether in the editor or anywhere else, but does not affect launcher grenades.

sorry im a noob... what name do i put in the name section. I have tried ASUS, DION, Dion, NOID and NOID1 (my arma 3 profile name)
The name you have set as your account name. (When you log in Windows, you must have an account name.)
Done this, still not working. I will be getting a new computer soon anyway it will probably all work on the new one... You can just resolve the issue if you want. It doesn't seem like i am getting this anywhere. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP! You guys are doing an awesome job! And I love the game :)

uploaded DxDiag file but i dont know how to find the .rpt file. I installed arma on my D drive to save space, if that helps. I also looked online on how to find it but no help. Direction to my Arma 3 folder is D:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 3

validated and it told me all files are validated. I am pretty sure i ran Arma as an Administrator and I am still getting the same error message in game and multiplayer is behaving the same way
