btw: i dont think any natural borders like high mountains would fit the area of chernarus, and coast at every side would make it an island, so there is not much that can be fixed about it and your threat is pointless...

as its evening in europe, devs don't work atm and can't help...
try playing on a private hive server or official 1st-person hive (as there are different hives for 1st and 1st/3rd person servers and i just assume you play on normal ones), if you need to play right now, otherwise wait until they can help you

I've had a simmilar crash agian, but in an other DX9 game (Americas Army Proving Grounds Beta), so it's rather a driver/hardware/DX9 related error, but nothing to worry for you about.
I think this threat can be closed now.

game still crashed from time to time, and its ratehr random.
i usually restart the pc after, to avoid BSoD, but next time i wont just to have a look...
i will delete my apdata files now, just repoducing the random crash might take a while
i think you just cant get close enough sometimes...
with the machete you can hit more reliably when not aiming at the head (as i usually do) but on the chest
not sure about the crowbar though
hive reset was announced before. they did it to remove some older items like 60 rnd m4 mag
i got a worn ttsko jacket with worn gorka pants, and i have not got overheating problems...(running around at day when it's dry weather)
but i have noticed differnt conditions of the cloting lead to differnt states of freezing (my pristine jacket got raped by a zombie at night when its was raining and i started freezing) so maybe this might be the reason its fine for me
also i'm always nicely hydrated, don't know about you though

the ejected ammo is some kind of magazine, thats why you have to eject it before combining it back
afaik you could actually load it by pressing r, which doesnt work with stacks of rounds

Imho this might have something to do with items not properly refreshing after being picked up. (but refreshing when droped)

rage, can't tell if dying might cause some crashes, but i was playing on a server with max 5-6 players, and i keept crasing to desktop everey min. i don't think they managed to die that often. also at some point i saw like 4 players crashing at once, but i didn't crash at that time, so even if someone dies, not everyone has to crash due to it.
i think it might have something to do with the game loading new models/terrain, because my game mostly crashed while running/walking, but also even during loading in after rejoing
can confirm, had this yesterday in 0.49.124937. also the sewing kit didn't show to get depleted, but after respawn clothes were mended and kit used

just be careful in multi story buildings when having desync/rubberbanding issues (eg. when you just joined a server), this seems to cause this issue for me.
the problem is, the uavs locks are not aiming at some vehicles from some angles...
locking a tigris for example locks a point in the air in front of the turret, wich makes hte laser designating the ground when the tank is lased from the side

vlad i disagree that it is to much or even impossible, as the system as it is locks on to a fixed point around (or inside) the vehicle. they just need to change that point for some vehicles to get better results in the end.
locking a variable point on a targets hull would make things more complicated
also, in case you mean locking a certain camera angle, this would disable tracking moving targets and in case you need that, just aim at the ground

In his issue just burn describes that his game crashes when his GBU hits the target, that happens to me some times, but i also had the crash, when landing to rearm.
Also i've noticed that the .rpt data files are quite useless, and on a normal crash to desktop no minidump files are created. (would is there a way to change it? i guess it would be more helpful)

I have noticed, that this does not happen when you order the AI, to not attack (like setting the behaviour in a waypoint to Never Attack)

wanted to test something else, and reproduced it by accident
this issue is propably caused by you swaping control when accessing a uav from a crew position (http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=22582), and the unability of ai to cope with afm; or rather a glich, that occures when ai has to cope with afm
i have noticed, that this issue even occurs when the engine is turned off. (see my vid in the attachment)
