I reproduced this same problem with T3N Optic on my M4. It happens whenever you 'aim' while lying prone; doesn't matter whether you are inside or outside, or on 2nd floor/ground floor. Always happens.
Had the mountain backpack, radar cap, gas mask, tactical vest.
*edit* It appears that the tactical vest was the culprit in this case (as another bug report stated). Taking off the tactical vest allowed aiming while prone without obstruction.
I had this issue occur with the tactical vest/T3N optic as well while lying prone, did not try moving and aiming. Taking off the vest unobstructed the view while aiming prone.
Confirmed. This phenomenon also occurred with me while lying prone. Taking off the tactical vest unblocked the view.
I had probably been attacked by some odd 5-10 zombies over the course of my life without disinfecting wounds. After being knocked unconscious a couple times in my last two scrapes, I found a bottle of pristine alcohol tincture.
Proceeded to clean my wounds, and instantly get sick. I thought it was bugged at first but then thought about how my old wounds could very well have been festering because I hadn't paid attention to them all this time. Kinda makes sense.
However, it would be nice to be able to perform a "inspect your wounds" action separate from the alcohol tincture, to give you a sense of first aid priorities instead of just carrying on as usual...
Confirmed that this also affects 2 canteens. Tried filling both up at the Lopatino well, but it only filled 1. Had to drop the filled one to fill the other up.
I am pretty sure melee sounds are placeholders.
This happened to me after getting attacked in the long dormitory structure in Gvozdno (SE side of town).
I vaulted into an empty bedframe to grab a gas canister and dropped another item to give myself space to pick it up. Then a zombie clipped through a wall to hit me and make me bleed. After eventually killing it and bandaging (one of the multi-use medkit bandages), the sound kept repeating every 30-60 sec until I logged off (~10 minutes).
When I logged back in the looping pain sound was gone.
Bipods in RL are designed for both bayonet lug attachment or rail attachment, so attaching without a special handguard is probably intended.
I have also been unable to attach the weapon flashlight to the M4 with RIS handguard attached.
*edit* I misspoke. I had the MP handguard (with the holes but no rails). I was able to attach it to the RIS handguard.
Would be nice if you could find picatinny rails somewhere to screw into the MP handguard :)
I attached the *MP* (magpul) handguard to my M4, and the weapon light would not attach. Are there picatinny rails you can add to it for direct attachment (since this handguard just has the holes, but no rails)? Perhaps finding and adding rails turns the MP into the RIS handguard??
*edit* it attaches to the RIS just fine for me, which makes me wonder what the purpose of the MP handguard is in the mod if there aren't separate rails you can attach
I find this issue most often with smaller items (like gloves) spawning on top of the wardrobes in residential areas. You can see the items in third person mode, but not first person, thus you cannot loot it because you don't have LOS.
Confirmed. Had it happen with full inventory when reloading from 20/20 M4 mag to 10/10.
This has happened twice in one play session 113772 build. Both with the big canteen and smaller water bottle after refilling from a stream.
I found the M9 bayonet and successfully fixed it to an M4. I could see the bayonet fine, but could also not toggle 'T' a fire mode that allowed me to use it.
Also happens with gas lamps.
I have experienced this both in towns (walking quietly) with no subsequent zombie aggro, as well as in open fields with obviously no zombies visible.
Was climbing down the ladder at Green Mountain radio tower. Pressed tab to look at my character inventory. Immediately fell to my death.
This happens to me with all weapons so far(M4, FNX45, axe, even baseball bat). If it doesn't switch the first hit of the key, it usually takes 3 times to get it.
It seems to happen later on in the play session for me, but I cannot confirm that yet.
This has happened every time I am knocked unconscious by a zombie and briefly regain consciousness even though I cannot move because I am sliding.
The only way to not die due to inaction is to log out the moment I come to, and when I log back in I can once again stand/move/bandage/fight back.
Very annoying when it happens because it is usually a death sentence.
I had this happen to me with M4 (ACOG, MP handguard) after changing stances from standing (visible attachments when alt-rotating view 3rd person) to crouched (attachments disappeared). Attachments reappeared when weapon was put away and re-drawn for both standing and crouched. Will try to reproduce and take a screenshot.
