Confirmed it will be a feature, at 40 minutes of this Arma 3 Livesteam, the DEV says he needs to use Global at this time but will implement a direct communication.

I agree, plus last time I worked with them, they didn't work in a dedicated server after a Join In Progress.
I see the moon! Thanks guys, this problem has been solved, the date was set to the 28th so that explains why. I didn't realize ArmA even had a realistic moon cycle.
Can somebody...explain to me why they don't use the functions in VBS2 in Arma? I mean... I just found out about this and I'm thinking of buying this. Bohemia obviously knows whats real... so obviously there making the ArmA games unrealistic on purpose... Why?
if someone has epilepsy you would definitely have a sezure. I was using it the other day and it bothered me.
I don't compete in any official competitions, I just do small MOUT style courses with a few buddies of mine and we get a little competitive. Your right it doesn't have range adjustment, I just keep it zero'd for 50 - 100m.
Yeah I made this post a few months ago, its been solved since they added the mk17 sight. It won't let me change the status.
@ProGamer The RCO or in real life called the Trijicon ACOG which is a NOD(Night of Day) optic are claimed to be night vision compatible, but they mean a rail mounted night vision device, from people who used both say the reticule blooms rendering it useless. Using it with goggles on the otherhand is out of the question it would take an absurd amount of time and be incredibly uncomfortable, The NVG tube and ACOG tube would needed to be lined up, useless. The ARCO or in real life called the ELCAN Specter is also only compatible with a rail mounted NVD. Arma 3 is a simulation, I know a lot of people want it to be easier but if your going to play a sim, it needs to be as realistic as possible. The scope system before the BETA was fine. Just look at this image anyway.

Upvoted, completely agree, with the system we have now there is no drawback to fighting at night.

In my experience, its not in those super popular "Ahoy World" servers that set the AI to where they shoot you at 500 meters, I am an editor myself and the AI wont shoot back at 300 meters with there spot distance at the highest and skill level bar to the top. My advice? make your own missions and stop playing ahoy world grind servers.
This post really frustrates me because Arma players are only playing that same stupid mission
Downvoted, Bohemia Shouldn't bend over backwards for people who fail to have common sense, you cant align a 6 inch object coming from your face with a scope or even iron sights. This is a simulation...
bad idea, the children and immature players will only troll playing as a women. If i saw a server with a lot of women i honestly cant take the game serious. Game developers who try to "please every crowd" always ends up making terrible games.
The grenade should be similar to taking out a rocket launcher like the older ArmAs, if you ever trained with tactical gear you would know during adrenaline taking something from a pouch isn't instant like it is in this game, especially since these are just NATO soldiers not veteran tier 1 special forces. This is a simulation, we're not playing a generic FPS.
I think it will be implemented just not yet.
