can confirm as I found a couple dead people, cut them up and cooked them properly and ended up sick.
The only way I could see that working without feeling like it shouldn't belong is like you said, people go out into the field and die. so perhaps a dynamic spawn where you find either a crashed military truck (similar to helis but with typical military loot) and crashed EMT vehicles.
That wouldn't make much sense. you don't go to someones house for medical treatment so why should you find medical supplies there. In real life military bases and hospitals are bound to be hot spots because of the types of items you do find there, which also makes them the more dangerous locations to loot.
Making an angry bug report does't make the Devs work any faster, how about an actual constructive report. Granted I know the bug is bad, but you are playing a game, that is still in alpha, and bugs are to be expected.
Edit: it seems that, if you have two guns, only the gun you spawn in with in hand is bugged. once i switch weapons, then switch back i vault without issue.
There needs to be some sort of a limiter on an "item per area" or something along that line. That way loot won't have a tendancy to keep spawning where it isn't needed. I feel like that would help evenly distribute the loot around the map rather than stacking it in a few places.
Also, wild mushrooms would be a nice touch as an edible as well, at least to give you some more options
My idea was maybe make an apple tree have a 100% chance to find apple for 2 or 3 apples. Then lower the percent to 75%, sear a couple times, 50%, then 25%, then 0%. This would encourage you to go and look for other trees rather than sit at the same one for 20 minutes
Same issue. I have lost a few improvised courier bags due to this
Was just discussing this with a friend last night as well. Being able to cook with an ashwood stick is .56 is great but making a sustainable fire out of just twigs to cook over can be a hassle if you can't find an axe
@Kawrnskeh or make a sling with natural leather
well that's pretty crappy but I don't think much can be done. thats just exploiting the internet interruption
I haven't had any issues with this, using a high capacity vest and a mountain backpack. You might specify what clothing to see if its a clothing specific bug.
I mean, I understand that they're trying to make you hunt and forage for food, as well as growing it. But if you're gonna make the food scarce, you should at least have another viable form of food implemented. I read that they're eventually adding sticks to cook food on but why not do that before they make you "live off the land"
when 0.55 first came out I was finding tons of loot, albeit not in the right spots, now i'm struggling to even spawn in because even empty servers have no loot at all
i was more or less being sarcastic, meaning I have hardly been able to find anything. played for 35 or 40 minutes and searched novo and found nothing aside from a garden hoe and a child's briefcase.
Well, they fixed the whole 'loot not spawning in the right place' thing. they seem to have completely gotten rid of loot altogether in the process. I mean, even Novodmitrovsk was almost completely empty.
It isn't even the fact that you have to stealth. you're bound to get into a confrontation with a zombie, its pretty much impossible not to at least once, but when you can, while completely geared, get killed in a matter of seconds it is pretty much impossible to play. Whatever the case you should still be able to fight a zombie without certain death. They completely nerfed every single weapon in the game. I was able to take out 4 or 5 zombies with a hatchet or a gun easily, but now it takes damn near 20+ swings to kill one zed.
Same issue. I tried deleting the battle Eye Folder, re verifying cache, nothing. Saw it was blocking Razer Cortex, tried stopping that, still have the problem.
