If you cook meat on/over a fireplace and eat it afterwards you will get sick.
I've tested thoroughly with some fish fillet. I cooked it with a cooking pot and stick on/over a fireplace. After it changed to a yellowish/goldish color I ate it and I got sick.

can confirm as I found a couple dead people, cut them up and cooked them properly and ended up sick.

I can confirm this as well. The meat does not say whether its cooked, raw, or burned. When you cook it to its nice brown cooked color and eat it you still get sick.
When you leave it on the fire and it burns, it does not say whether it is burned or not, but you can visually see its burnt.
Please fix this as hunting and fishing is now pointless, if you get sick every time you eat your kill.
