Is it really works? If so... this is "catch of the year" IMHO.

well that's pretty crappy but I don't think much can be done. thats just exploiting the internet interruption

If this is true that is very worrying... :\

Needed several tests to confirm. Seems to work. Reporter should make this Note private please.

oh no :O what a crime
"lagg hacking.."! pha XD

We hate people like you, tylerdurden!

People like you are the reason for all the use of this crappy hacking tools.

If this worked you could get cute and wire up a Staples Easy Button that calls a command to basically toggle the default route on your PC on and off. Quicker than unplugging the cable or disabling the card, and requires no alt-tabbing.

Hopefully it doesn't actually work like you say, though.

The best way to avoid cheating like this (unplugging the cable or turning off wifi) is:

  • the server needs to kick directly a user who has no connection.

If you can kill someone when reconnecting while you were not connected before means that the KILL command is saved somewhere in your RAM.

The server needs to REJECT all commands from a client once he was disconnected. This could fix the problem.

I have actually tested this myself, and I assure you it works, test it for yourself. It's like, ummm. "Time Stops For One Man Only" kind of thing.

If legit then this is not good at all. (I have no doubt it is not though)
Hopefully we will see a fix for this ASAP.
AS Paper26 says it has to be an flaw in the memory of some sort that makes this possible.

Shame that people actually vote down this...
A true evidence that many out there have no interest to get a hack free game.

As you said, it's a shame to vote this down.

At the moment: 3 adult voted up, 4 stupid kiddies voted down!

I don't see a place to make this private, only my comment.
But this sort of thing is not new, and has been done for years.
I myself did not know about it until someone showed me.
I hope this gets sorted out.

Very sad that someone has to use methods like this to play a game.
It shows low human value, and horrible game skill.
