Most likely he hit something, went airborne and landed nose down. I ran into this once; unfortunately there is no way to fix it. However I did find a truck tipped over; took my truck and "tipped it right side up" without damage to either vehicle.

Added "-port=25007" (Without quotations), same results for game. Was I supposed to restart after that? it looks like it saved straight away and if I go back in there it still is there in that menu. unfortunately no fix.

I went into my router settings and the below option was unselected so I assume that means my upnp is already off.

For reasons of security, only enable this option if you really want to allow incoming connections from the Internet.

After your last message I have phone my internet provider who also helped me connect to the NBN with a new router.
It turns out the router was causing the issues.
I have a fix to my problem now and am working it out with my internet provider.

Thankyou so much for your time and effort, I really appreciated your help in trying to fix the problem.

Now I can get back to looking for baked beans and ammo....lol

when I play the game by myself.
My boys play rarely.
Because my profile was not working, I tried logging into steam(on my own computer)as my first sons profile just so I could play but the same issue happened.
So then I tried my second sons profile on his own computer and he has the same problem as well.
We have recently changed over to the NBN from broadband but no other games or on line activity have been affected at all.

Just tried again, same thing, cant interact with anything in the game(doors, items etc), can move around though, cant interact with anything in my backpack (when I put the curser over things it says 'receiving' and doesn't change. It does save my position in the game though, so if log in and move, after a minute it then kicks me out with 'confirmation of changes' message, but my position is updated in the game when I log back in.

Something on your system must have changed in order to cause this issue to suddenly appear. Could you try out the following please?

Add -port=25007 into your DayZ launch options on one of the PC's. To do this, you can right click on DayZ in Steam --> Properties --> Set Launch Options and enter "-port=25007" (without the quotation marks). The number doesn't really matter as long as it's different from the other computers which will use 2302, 2303, 2305 by default.

Alternatively, if you have access to the router settings and upnp is turned on, you can try turning it off, restarting the router then trying again.

You upgraded. From Win 8. Where you had the same problem.

It's your windows.

Sounds like HDD. or ram issues or some driver screaming at you.

Hi guys,

managed to get the fix! So it is the same issue as before with the screen size for some reason. Instead of it being under the usual place, go to 'Display' then 'Customize your display' and there is it 'Change the size of the text, apps, and other items'

I changed from 100% to 125% and it worked a treat!!!

This is confirmed fix. Hope this helps any others that are experiencing the same problem.

Dayz is up-to-date

A complete re-install of dayz.

• I have verified the game a few times. Just checked again and this is all good.

Can you say how I check the framework and directx version?

Is the resolution different in game since u upgraded?

Thinking try and change the resolution with your keyboard if you can and see if that fixes it. tab moves thru options. try UI resolution and game.

Have you installed any other games?

framework or direct x maybe missing something.

Win 10 isn't really updated properly yet so its like as if you have to go and install everything again like you would fresh. I know it picks up most of the install files and what not on upgrade but I found if I didn't install it again it didn't work...properly.

Also is your build up to date as of right now? I know there was a few updates yesterday.

after deleting those files all you have to do is verify game cache. Not reinstall. But it's obviously nothing to do with game settings if you did reinstall.

I doubt these guys can do much for you.

As soon as it gets to the "Dayz" screen the cursor disappears. The cursor is just missing. When I move the mouse I can see the icons light up red. Does this info help?

I'm on win 10 and have no mouse issues with razer death adder
also if u upgraded u need to do it properly. not just install win10 and hope it works

Try deleting these files inside C:\Users\(USERNAME)\Documents\DayZ
or these C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ

save them first in diff folder if u want

Interesting. TY. Will try that. Went a couple hours and halfway across the map not being able to pick things up. Hot bar appeared not to be working as well. Things invisible in my hand, etc.

Issue with door states, if you leave the building of said item and close/open the outer door and walk back in, you can pick it up.

Sometimes items is glichts out off a house

oh this could be if the item that is dropped is ruined. I remember that ruined pants i wanted to swap with some good ones disappeared as well as the content.

It is the item cleanup, it occurs to fast on many items. Had the same issue when trying to gather firewood

It's been around since December at the least - Bigger fish to fry as they say

Vatixerid, it made it into .58 stable

This is the main culprit that causes random fall damage/deaths and many more. Definitely needs a fixing.

FYI as the central economy was introduced firstly to the exp servers, the doors open or closed by themselves as loot was respawning. Maybe people reported this as bug and it was *fixed*. So now maybe the clients don't receive this doors updates. Happy bughunting!

And please don't push 0.58 to stable till this is fixed. People can't loot inside if they go trough a serverside closed door.
