Probably a duplicate.
Doors are appearing closed for my client - Other players will stroll through what appears to be a closed door on my screen - The door is open for other users but not for me.
The reverse is also true, a door may appear open to me - I can walk through, but I won't be able to pick up items past that door way, unless I walk back outside the door and 'close' it and then open it again.
The open/close icon will represent the true state of the door, but visually it will be the opposite. The same can be said for opening closing sounds.
