To fix this issue I had to go into Xbox settings and adjust the IP settings I simply copied the IPv4 info back into the settings

Forgot to mention, setting it to a lower value works much better and barely ran into any leftover infected.

Okay so I've managed to fix it by removing any deliminators (_) (-) (/) ( ) etc from the JSON filenames and removing any kits from the spawning array that have a spawnweight value other than 1.
I have to also agree and say something here.
I have tried for like 40 minutes sometimes more to get a different spawn usually closer to my friends but sometimes i just wanna go to say cherno or electro to start my journey but i can't because i keep spawning on the north side of the map or vice versa, this becomes really frustrating to say the least
Server is a NA server. Other friends on nextgen are able to join no problem.
Yes, alot of players have been having issues with loadouts that worked in 1.23 but now longer work.
I've been having the fire with no sound either.
Ticket got closed since all the info was deleted and it is an empty ticket.

happens when joining servers hosted in London on a next gen console on a home connection, been around for a while and is why US players can only join US servers effectively without being either old gen or playing on a hotspot

We will take a look at this, however it seems like a desynchronisation issue. As for the gear, we do not reimburse any gear or lost characters unfortunately.

Nothing but the truth. Devs, why are we trying to fix something thats not broken? Why are we keeping freshies to a certain area for a certain amount of time. Imo this new system just aint it. Old system was completely fine. What if the rotation is down south and your boys are up north? Then what? Wait 30 mins? There are a lot of people I know that very much dislike this but don't voice their opinions. We are the very few many people that do. Address this. Make a change. Don't swipe it under and try to hide. Listen to the players who love the game for what it is.

I completely resonate with your frustration regarding the new spawning system in the game. Respawning repeatedly and spending hours just to meet up with friends is not only tedious but counterproductive to the gaming experience. The idea that everyone in a group has to die simultaneously for the system to work is impractical and often leads to prolonged periods of waiting. It's disheartening to see a system intended for convenience turning into a disciplinary process for players who have to endure lengthy waits. Reverting to the old spawning system, which was more efficient and enjoyable, seems like a reasonable plea for the DayZ community.
Yes, this cultivates all my true feelings about the spawn system. Devs, please do better!

They despawn after going away for a period of time. If it is the radius, what is the recommended radius for the infected despawn?

Do the infected persist there indefinetely or do they despawn at some point?

We have tested this some more but with vanilla settings everything works as it should. We suggest that this could be caused by one of your settings. It might also depend on the radius of infected despawn. As if there are players nearby, infected could stay there for a bit longer.
