Feature Request *alt timers+priority*
Feedback, UrgentPublic

Description

Hello!
Alt timer is a great thing, but for community servers will be cool to have option to edit timers, admin can set 1 minute or even 30 minutes for the first account change.
Admins can't ban via ip unknown accounts, whitelist also not a good thing. So it will stop toxic gameplay of some random persons who is already in banlist and can create new account in few min and again back to do bad things and destroy dayz gameplay.

Also with this option great to add accounts to the priority list (can be same as existing for queue)
Lots of servers have traders, or role play things with alt timer, and when u need to change account alt timer very bad thing, just waste of time, especially when consoles dont support any mods where admins can teleport and fix something, if player from priority list can pass that timer would be great thing and very convenient, give us these options, not too hard for you! Please!)

After recently having launched our servers on Xbox, we have noticed players use the Family Sharing feature on Xbox in order to create unfair advantages not in the spirit of DayZ.

Players currently have the ability to have multiple characters spread over multiple Xbox accounts on a single server using the Family Sharing feature. This shouldn't be an issue, however players tend to gear up those characters themselves and place them in the viscinity of their base or important points-of-interest on the map. When their main character dies, they can switch to a different account and jump right back into the fight to secure the gear they lost on their main account. This obviously creates unfair advantages because players will have to kill the same player multiple times to be victorious in their encounter. This stimulates others to do the same and it will create a vicious circle of players abusing the Family Sharing feature in order to remain competitive. This sadly isn't a rare occurance at all and it's a major issue on many servers. The Multi Account Mitigation option is somewhat helpful to combat this issue, but the current timers tied to this feature are not sufficient to fix the issue. They are simply not long enough to make a significant enough difference. That is very clear from what we can see on our servers.

Here's my relatively simple suggestion in order to fix this problem once and for all: give console community server owners the ability to adjust the timers tied to the Multi Account Mitigation feature. (Xbox/PlayStation)

This will allow server owners to find their personal preferred balance for this feature whilst not affecting the official DayZ experience. DayZ has always done a really good job giving server owners the ability to manage their servers through their personal configs and features. This one will help many servers fix an issue which is a massive headache to their playerbase. Exploiting Family Sharing sadly is very common but I am very confident this suggestion will make that a thing of the past.

This would definitely be a benefit for me. Some way to exclude certain accounts from Alt timers whether it be a new list, priority list, whitelist, etc. A way to configure the timer would also be nice.

I’ve owned a server on console for almost 3 years now and in that time players have been able to break our community rules by abusing Alternate accounts. This would be huge and make my communities game play experience much better, this would also make my personal experience as an owner more enjoyable and proficient as I’ve banned over FOUR THOUSAND alt accounts who come and grief bases using in game exploits or shoot up our safe zones. Please consider this!

excluding certain accounts from the alt timers and having the ability to control the timers themselves is a great idea to aid admins , traders , and server support staff as said above we lack the ability to jump around the map and thats restrictive enough when running a server to have to wait x amount of time between account changes as a owner is a headache

This would be amazing to help us police this issue more on our servers

Being a server owner and helping out in other console communities this is a huge problem pretty much any active server. This would be so amazing if something could be done. My personal server alone has nearly 3,000 alternative accounts banned. That's just between two servers. There are days when alternative accounts are completely out of control and I have to spend so much time making sure they are banned, so my community is happy. The alt timer was definitely a huge help when released, being able to adjust our timers and have more control over it would be extremely helpful.

Also, unfortunately alot of staff on my server use alternative accounts since we have no teleport or anything like that to aid us in game. It does get difficult for them having to wait the timers down switching between accounts to check in on certain things. A way to let staff bypass this would be an amazing feature such as a whitelist to bypass the timer.

Every tool we can get is more then we had, shower us with this.
