This is also an issue on well running community servers. I've been playing W.C.S realism servers and they average about 60-80 server FPS and still have a big lag in supply quantities being updated. I have to stare at the "unload supplies" prompt for about 7-10 seconds before the game recognizes their are supplies to be unloaded or loaded.

I have not experienced this in the current version of the game. 1.1.0.34.
I think you can close this task.

Have you used the "Check integrity of game files" option in steam game properties?
I've noticed this as well. At first I thought it was just because someone hit it, as I've accidentally drove a truck into one piece and it destroys all the wire that is connected to that piece. But recently I witnessed the wire disappear with no one else around. I've never been able to climb on top or jump over the wire though.

From what I've noticed this is most commonly abused in the beginning of the match. I believe its a member of the opposite team joining with an alt account and purposefully destroying vehicles or compositions to set them back and then rejoining the other team and starts spamming the vote kicks. Most players have picked up on this and we don't vote someone out unless we have first hand knowledge of the situation. The above requests would really help with this though.

Are you experiencing packet loss before DC'ing? Does the entire game crash or the connection to the server? I had a similar problem on the modded servers when I first started playing them.
Turned out to be a corrupt file, I uninstalled and re-installed the game on my PC, then verified the integrity of game files and it resolved the issue.
This is the exact place to post this. Great feedback. I have experienced this once before as well.

Need at least 4080 or better - 4090
Plenty of games run fine enough with it. Arma 3 among them or even the StarCitizen Alpha.

Great comment/feedback @Yamachinu, I think we pretty much agree on most of this. It's critical that this is figured out properly sooner than later as I have already encountered players in game that dislike the way things work and just quit, possibly to never return again which in some cases is probably for the best.
I noticed your ping jumped to 800-900 in one of these videos. And other times the Server FPS dropped into the teens. I assume you are playing on the Darkgru servers which is not an official bohemia server and therefor is more of Darkgru's issue. The official or lightly modded servers rarely have this issue. This will all get better with continued optimization in the future and possibly better server hardware? I am just a player of the game and have no affiliation to Bohemia btw.

It was worse the other way around in my opinion. I think a good middle ground would be to allow building from the command post but with the blurred Arma vision, that way it can't be exploited to locate enemies. Leave requesting AI defenses as is. It was insanely annoying to have enemy AI placed right on top of me when I was trying to take over a base.
Having to spend 10 minutes to find an enemy is probably fine, there is some aspect of realism to having to physically clear out building and bushes.

I was able to get the prompt by kneeling near the ladder, it is a very small selection box to click on though.

This is valuable feedback. I have had the exact same frustrations with most players. I think part of the problem is also that there really isn't any true incentive to win. Arma doesn't keep statistics unless you complete the match. It's an open sandbox yes but the conflict game mode should record stats and maybe an overall experience/level system that carries over to a players steam ID and sticks with their career not just this play session. Leave the existing rank up system within the game but add a rank system that correlates with total experience and achievements over numerous matches.

Also Kanas, I was not pressing shift, this was happening to multiple players as we were all building up a base. I would hold the "F" key and get reset and have to re-equip the shovel.
I have now run into a few instances that this does not happen so I believe it is server or connection related? I've been playing on the official NY Conflict Arland server in which I have roughly 95ms ping.

I'm not a Dev, however I would assume the simplest way to do this is that if the UI is not open on the piece of clothing the new items will not be placed in there.
For example you can open or close the inventory of each piece of clothing or backpack while in the "inventory menu", if you hide those from view the item would be placed in the next available location that is visible while you are in your inventory. It's a new system that would require some getting used to however the player has the control and can learn how it works to prevent issues.
Also set a priority, container in hands gets first item placement choice then vest-coat-belt-pants-backpack. If any are hidden from view in UI they are skipped and cooking pots, drybag, frying pan, med pouch ect can only be filled if they are in your hands.
Doing this should result in items not being placed in hidden spaces when you just take it from the loot location. Only drawback I see is it forces the player to place the other container mentioned above in their hands in order to pick up any items that no longer fit in the clothing/backup.

If the new backpack is on your character and the old one is on the ground you can double-click each item to fast place in your inventory. Placement is random and dependent on where space is available.

So far I've found this to only be the case when placing an item back in your inventory using the hot wheel. I have not had the problem when selecting an item to equip using hot wheel and placing it back in my inventory manually.
Hope this helps.
Interesting seeing other perspective on this, I do believe the food spoiling is a great thing and could potentially be used to track another player ect. So far I have not had a problem surviving.
