Yeah it's a strange bug. Strange in that it is so underreported, considering everybody i've ever raised it with (on ps4) has encountered it! Basically everyone assumed the weather in dayz was meant to be so dark and gloomy at times. Only when you're running with a crew and half the crew are experiencing glorious sunshine, telling you to follow your shadow west, that you realise something is up lol!

This happens to me as well. I have tried to tell them about this problem for a while now but nothing is ever done. Out of all the bugs this is the one that I hate the most. This happens mainly in sunny areas but does happen all the time as well. For me it's when I look down everything brightens and then look back up and straight ahead or up a little towards the sky and everything darkens. I get what you're saying. But people with alt accounts logged off in military areas isn't a BI issue. It's a Sony one. Each profile on the console is different but shares the same perks as the PSN subscriber.

The ticket has been removed due to the amount of profanity within the ticket.
If you have an information on an issue, then please provide just the critical information required in order to produce the issue.
Criticism is also welcome, however, it has to be constructive and politely written, which unfortunately was not the case of your ticket.

As i say, if they can't fix the cars they can certainly made them tougher and with better occupant protection so after the inevitable lag/hang/crash/reboot scenario you can continue along your merry way... the trucks already provide this so it's just a simple adjustment of a few numbers in the code

3 hours this morning wasted uninstalling game, reinstalling, reinstalling update, moving game between ssd and internal storage, supersampling on/off, switching between 1080p/2160p, boost mode on/off. If the game loaded past the (pointless) press x to start screen it hangs on loading into server. Haven't managed to get into a game session at all.

It's almost like they're purposefully making the cars unusable in a way. Maybe to prevent players from even bothering with going through the hassle of fixing them up in the first place. I submitted a ticket about this problem with customer support, and they told me that they couldn't fix the floating issue with the vehicles because the game engine "didn't like the vehicles". How lame is that for an excuse? I haven't noticed the wheels being any more prone to damage, but I do drive EXTREMELY carefully. Lol. That doesn't stop them from bouncing and floating, unfortunately. It looks like a programming issue with the vehicle suspension to me. Specifically with the truck and Ada car. Which seems like something that could be fixed. I dunno. I'm no game developer.

why are the front wheels ruined after the slightest crash these days too? seems they have made the cars even more prone to damage (from collisions that are never of drivers making) since the update. utter madness.

Two long sessions over the weekend; at least 2 hours spent rebooting the game and trying to load up again!

i understand that. This fix is not to stop people having alternate accounts. It is to stop players loging in through their list of many accounts positioned in military areas, main towns, player bases or strategic positions and taking 30 secs to look through buildings and either locate a target or log off without moving a muslce. Please explain how the above exploit is a viable and fair way to play the game. i have also been subject to teams that communicate player positions and players can log alternate accounts into that spot and attack said player.
The fix is also to help counter players being knocked uncon in a fight and then coming conscious and just taking 15 seconds to log off out of trouble. this fix targets official servers.

On official servers there is a log out timer of 15 seconds before the player actually logs off server. If you are playing community servers, this can be changed by the server owner or admin. Also the alt accounts is something that has to do with Sony. When you have a system set up as "primary" every user on the system has access to the library of games as well as the PSN subscription. This isn't something BI can resolve.

Yes but this is not the only problem, the servers freeze and make the game crash when loading textures, for example you join a server or u respawn.

Bug 2 especially annoying as the failed takedown alerts the target despite no noise being made

PS4pro and SSD, had a dozen game crashes, all on the totally needless 'press x to start' screen. No idea why this skip screen exists, just boot game to main menu, it's obvious i want to play the game! This screen is especially annoying, completely pointless and should be removed from the game.

I agree. However I also think numerous tickets for the same thing could cause confusion. Noticed your original ticket was merged with another one of the same issue.
