Hi there i experience the same crashes with the title screen but my dayz server also hot unplayable.

I see my report got merged into this one stating it's a duplicate. Where is the mention of if you get passed the press x screen the game freezes once you load into the server?

It is a related problem and we will deploy a fix for both of the issues once it is ready.

It's been like two weeks and we are not waiting for a new update, we are actually waiting for a hotfix for your latest update?
nobody would create tickets here if you would be able to communicate better.

What's going on over in the studio? Are they having issues reversing it?

This is truly becoming ridicilous and i am not talking about the technical aspect of it.

XBox got their hotfix in a couple of days. But we are waiting for two weeks without ANY extra informations except that you working on it.

Why even have a screen that only exists to tell you to click a button to go where you should initially be taken?

I found a workaround for the "connecting to server" crash!

Try to look down with your right thumb stick as soon as textures are loading in. Once that loading bar is finished try to press down a couple of times until you see your character looking down.

It's not working everytime but pretty solid 4 out 5 times i can avoid this crash.

Trying to find a workaround for the "press X" crash next.

Post patch I have had 4 successful log ins with no freeze.

Animations and audio seem to sync faster at start screen, main menu and loading into servers post patch as well.

Its fixed!

Seems to have fixed the press x to start for me, but still freezes on login to some busier servers.

The update works great. I havn't had a single crash in many hours gaming. Felt great!
Thanks for releasing it before the weekend! :)

Also: Performance on my PS4 Pro with SSD is much better now: When i'm going through bigger cities building don't have to reload anymore when i switch direction of view. Also when using scopes it feels really smooth now. I don't know what you did but this feels like a performance boost for my console.

Seems to have done the trick. I've not encountered the issue since the hotfix. As mentioned above it seems to have fixed the really bad performance issues and reduced the slow texture loading and pop in. Nice work!

Now just make the vehicles less damage prone, with better occupant protection, so we can continue to drive them even after the inevitable crashes resulting solely from the game hanging while using them...

I'll try again tonight, I only tried 1 time with a very busy community server, and it froze on login.

Hopefully its just that one server!!

I've been having the same issues as a lot of other people and I just wanted to say that the patch has solved this problem for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making us able to play the game we love again.

I also want to add that I started the game and entered different servers, community and official ones 10 times in a row(!), - So from playstation start menu and until I was loaded into the server and moving around, 10 times. Not one single freeze at start menu, no lock up while the game renders in and no other issues or problems. Thank you so much, thank you. Greetings from Sweden
