This bug, which has been happening ever since i've had this game, is especially annoying now the game is crashing on startup all the time.
Nearly every time the server resets the game will restart with it's shadows and lighting missing. It makes the environment dark, misty, low contrast and really difficult to see. Shadows from all objects are missing and you can't really see where the sun is making navigation difficult. If you look above the horizon so more of the sky fills your vision it's quite blinding and a little unsettling.
The only way to fix it is to close the game and restart it, which has now become a 15-20 minute task due to the crashing on startup issues we're experiencing.
