Nevermind. The missing items were being automatically placed inside of pouches I had inside my backpack. Very confusing!!!!

Is your SSD external or internal? Trying to determine if I should void my warranty and swap out the HDD for a SSD.

As of the 1.03 update, I can no longer open the launcher in order to load mods via GeForce Now.

Does it happen if you have gloves on?

They changed this in the last patch without telling anyone. You have to take the untied bandana to your hands and left-click. The prompt for the action is not shown, you just have to guess to figure it out.

Alt+Tab will fix the issue.

I think this is the same glitch as the one that causes lanterns and gas stoves to play a sound effect when you enter the game and have the item in your inventory. The sound made when the car is near is a "popping" sound. I will get a video capture of it.

It happens even on an i9, RTX 2070, 64 GB of DDR4 RAM and Intel Optane storage.

So it seems you have to take the untied bandana to your hands and left click. Then the bandana will be placed over your face or on your head. It's very unclear as the text associated with this action is missing from the UI. It's also counter-intuitive to how this item has worked in the past. There were no release notes accompanying this change to gameplay.

You don't have to do any of those steps:

You drag the bandana onto your character and nothing happens.

Also works with car tent, large tent, metal sheets, wooden planks...

One additional thing I can say is that the gun and the magazines were acquired from killing known item duplication abusers and I haven't encountered this issue with any M4-A1 I've obtained from a spawn point.

Thank you. I wanted to add that sawing off the BK-18 rifle also causes the same issue. If you had a ghillie wrap and a round chambered, both will get deleted.
