They apparently do not only have no parent but no class themselves at all anymore, making them pretty unusable for any kind of scripting as far as I can see.

Don't use !alive, use !canMove... Much better that way.
Even one shot from PCML will completely disable a ghosthawk. I'd say the damage is ok. It doesn't matter if it's not exploding, it's still destroyed (even if damage < 1 and "alive chopper" returns false.).
When destroying a landed helicopter is a mission objective the task won't be completed until it blows up. Having to launch 2 or 3 missiles makes it feel unrealistic and eats up all of your AT firepower.
^^ Clouds on "Low" does aggravate this specific appearance. Yet i've seen this type of artifacts with higher settings too.
Please provide a screenshot with your graphic settings.

So, you want the churches to be enterable?
I want more diversity. If they want to put religious structures in the game & label the map where they all are they should make them diverse and able to be enterable as well.
The little details are nice.
I would also like to add that there are medical signs sticking out the side of buildings. It almost looked intended, but I hope not. As it simply looked like 2 poorly placed editor objects, running into one another.
Mass closing resolved issues not updated since November.
fix will appear in Version 1.10
so wait for it until then.
