Since the update having issue with directional sound. Asked about it on the Facebook page and they have said to put it in here 😂 not sure why but using Astro A10’s did a controller update ect and nothing has worked. So I’m guessing by here and there Twitter page it’s a update issue

I detached and then reattached 4 long sticks and then altered the angle at which I was facing the build site. After doing that, I was able to complete the build.

I use stereo uncompressed for my earphones that I use to play and I’m having the same issue. If you get someone to shoot at you from 100m and you keep spinning in a circle as they shoot you, you cannot tell where the gunshot is coming from. It sounds like it’s all around you.

Headset and I never changed anything in my settings from last update and it worked just fine until todays update was realeased

Which specific Turtle Beach headset? Does it use the 5.1/7.1 audio or is this a stereo headset? Also do you mean that you are able to hear the direction if you use the standard tv speakers?

Hi Geez, I use a Turtle Beach headset with default settings when playing and always had the ability to perceive the direction of sounds in game. I noticed this issue in 1.13 also affects other sound effects other than gunshots, such as animal calls. You could also hear the direction but less amplified, when sound is output through standard built-in TV set speakers.

There is no way for us to remove the kuru sickness from your character unfortunately.
Are you certain you did not consume some fat that you have found in an inventory of player or in someone elses storage? As the animal / human fat items are the same so it is possible that you have eaten human fat without knowing.

The system works as thad0ctor has described. Especially higher caliber weapons and shooting in bursts will still have a chance to attract infected.

Suppressors just decrease the zombie agro range/player hearing range, they don't entirely eliminate sound
