I made a post about this a few days ago, they tested it and couldn't reproduce. In my experience sometimes those fireplaces work, and sometimes they don't, but if one of them doesn't work, then none of them work.

Changed reproducibility to sometimes because I was unable to do it again, but I was trying to light fire and jump down to burn myself. It may be contingent on someone standing below it while the fire is being lit.

If you don't want them to patch it why did you post at all? Lol

This is a major issue that needs to be addressed asap. I'm looking forward to a response, hopefully finding that this wasn't intentional.

I'd like to add to this, that some trees are disconnected from the ground beneath them, floating in the air up to ~1 meter. Yesterday I was able to crawl completely underneath a tree in the forest, and come out the other side.

Plug in your Xbox controller. That's what I have to do to avoid this.

That's unfortunate. I have checked multiple times and every time I go in there I cannot interact with those fireplaces. I'll check again today, and if it is still bugged I'll post a video. I have confirmed it with two other players on Xbox, they also couldn't interact with them.

Update: while wearing running shoes, you also produce 3 bars of sound while crouch walking, on a hard surface, with your weapon raised. So it's not just boots. It goes from 1 to 3 with running shoes, presumably all shoes.

Another issue with this is that when you're crafting you can't even look down at the item you're crafting, because they restricted the y axis too much

They've changed it so that you have to hold b to combine. I had the same problem until I read the prompt. Its a good change.
