Allow me to shamelessly promote a related ticket.
Most weapons and equipments are not ambidextrous, and even if they are, they are not symmetric. So, just mirroring models, like in Counter Strike, is a pretty bad idea.
With that said, the left handed option with proper animations (and models, of case deflectors on rifles) will be cool.
They should make female characters, which is far easier to do, first, though.
If a PVP-focused server doesn't have the third person camera disabled, it's just the admin being a "noob".
Also, the commander of a vehicle is usually supposed to be sitting on the gunner seat (if there's no commander seat in that vehicle), and not the driver.
As there is already a similar option for ground vehicles, it feels inconsistent without this.
Samurais don't sneak up on people to chop them in half. Even ninjas don't.
I was surprised to see that it cannot even hold an USMC squad.
Even if the capacity of Ghosthawk is going to stay this way, there'd better be a Blufor chopper that has larger capacity.
In the worst case, a reskinned version of Green Faction's Chinook should suffice.
Edit: CH-49 Mohawk is actually not based on Chinook at all, but, whatever.
Bicycles have been used by many military organizations in the last century, and are still used by some.
Also, I refuse to believe that insurgents and spec ops never use them any more.
Yes, I created this ticket as a request to make what TrackIR (and other analog inputs, including foot pedals and gamepads) can do doable without them.
Thank you for clearing it up!
Even if it hits the performance too much and is impractical for all current generation machines, this should be implemented as the highest PiP setting or something. Even if it's just for the sake of screenshots and of making the game more future-proof.
If it's easy to implement, that is.
Just open the mission.sqm with a text editor, and replace Galkin with Ifrit.
This is not actually a "problem", let alone an immediate major one.
It IS pretentious and silly, but that's exactly why it made me chuckle. And laughter is good for health, they say.
PC (not Personal Computer, mind you) is the last thing you should care for when making a porno or a war game (or a joke, which may well be what "THIS IS WAR" is).
Also, everybody runs the game with "-nosplash -skipintro -world=empty" after first few runs, so I somewhat fail to see why it has to be removed.

Since various military organizations are doing Parkour programs even today, lightly equipped regulars in 2035 should be able to do it.
Hell, if the maximum running vault-able height is to be as low as the normal vault in the current build, even fully equipped ones (and civilians) should be.
All units are equipped witch binoculars unless the mission editor removes them.
Use them when unsure.
I don't think this ticket is invalid.
Even if actually their intention is to prevent people from suiciding only in alpha, it's a mere speculation for now.
Also, inability to do insertions while hovering over rooftops, and the ground, is pretty annoying.
Repro missions? We don't need no stinkin' repro missions!
This issue has been around since OFP, and you can see it happen in basically every mission.
